TfW Class 67+Mk4 sets: trip planning/experiences, diagram updates etc

Is there any indication of improvement to the situation by Friday or is it looking more like next week to start getting back to normal?

Need to know if I should give up my hopes of ever getting a first class meal from TfW

There'll likely be a couple of sets out and about on Friday but in reality there's a big push to ensure everything is in place for the full 5 diagram roll out from Monday that has almost seen this week written off.

I will not get my hopes up for the 14:30 from Manchester. It will be interesting to see what refund I get on my 1st class advance. (IF it were based on the prices at the point of booking I will need to pay TfW 50p)

Several loco and stock moves today, lots listed above to recover things after the displacement of the last week.

Once the ECS from Canton arrives into Crewe, 67016+015 will head with 67014 to DB for attention and if all goes to plan will swap with 67020 which will head back to ATC.

Tomorrow if everything goes to plan should have 67029+HD05 now heading for a test run, delayed from today and is now planned Crewe ETD- Crewe ATC- Shrewsbury- Crewe ATC. Service rakes should be 67020+HD02 starting 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff and 67017+HD07 starting 06:27 Manchester to Cardiff

67025 + HD06, but attached to the DVT.

Today’s diagrams from Crewe are
67017 + HD07, for 1V33 etc
67020 + HD02, for 1V31 etc

Yes that's the one. Planned to head over from ETD to ATC around 10 then head out on that. Should then enter service tomorrow all being well.

If it is the 67 failing then that's a bit concerning in terms of how many locos are available, if it is the set then we all know that this isn't a surprise

It's not the set, the loco had intermittent power issues, hoped to be resolved for the morning and back out on the 0627 from Manchester, HD07 is again the only other set planned out of Canton.

A loco should, likely 016 will head down to Canton to go back onto HD03 for Monday.

HD05 requires some further work before it goes back in passenger service but should.be available from Sunday, although HD02+07 are again planned out, HD05 is expected to be available.

67020 not ready in time. May swap in at some point but with work also happening on HD01, 05 and 06 the Mk4 teams at ATC will be somewhat stretched as it is so its not that likely.
