(although you still hear the UFO sound!).
Yeah what is that? and what is it's purpose if any?
Similar to the Class 334 and 390 units, forms part of the regenerative braking
Different technologyThanks, although I don't think I've ever heard either the 334's or the Pendo's constantly making the noise. Maybe they're just quieter!
All but 380114 and 380116Which 380s are in Scotland?
380101 is now sitting in platform 0 at Haymarket
lol there is 5 in total, so how many is a 'few' since we are exactly talking about a lot in the first place
A few is what I'd describe the whole fleet as...
And btw I doubt they actually have
ScotRail is still paying for them and is also paying for the minor work as specified by Northern Rail (via RoSCo) to reinstate some equipment previously removed and placed into storage, but remain available to ScotRail in the event of any further issue with Class 380 units (but now unlikely)Apparently a few class 322s have already left for Northern Rail

All five units should be removed from passenger service with ScotRail on 26 June
The first unit should be with Northern Rail towards the middle of July, all five by the end of August
bike rack out, seats back in
Northern Rail (via the RoSCo) have specified seating over bike racks, for the routes they are intended forThey should leave them alone they can handle 8 bikes. The only mod i would do would be to put an intermediate door control panel in.
Installing door control panels would be quite involved; time consuming, costs to be incurred
Do the Class 321 units have these?
The last two Class 380 or Class 322?I believe these are the last two
The last two Class 380 or Class 322?
Indeed it will be the last two Class 380, still waiting on 7 entering public service, but now enough units to meet the minimum PVR
By the end of this week that should be down to 5 outstanding units to enter public use
It's not that easy to see the Class 380 units from the M74Two 380s spotted at Polmadie from the new vantage point that is the M74 this evening
