There all like that on RTT
But it says 5 car on the page
Wouldn't mind an update to the sets on RTT, give them the extra coach and correct livery!

In all seriousness, should probably have a slight update as it's quite outdated (no DVT livery, lack of coaches, wrong formation/orientation ect..)

Get some of those liveries on the 67s too, one can dream..
One thing I wouldn't mind though is showing what it is instead of just a picture, when the picture is on it, there's no info when they know exactly what it is. That'd be useful

1W11 is 197114
No 67010 set 1
On it, and its very quiet at the south end though this will now be very busy when it gets closer to Manchester.

The 197s are good enough as trains so it is not a big loss to have a 197/1.

Does mean one less 197 for other services though.

The Canton recovery loco was out of use so 67010 had to be held back to cover that for the morning.
67029 should head light engine in the morning to Canton to cover from tomorrow.

67015+HD05 is finally expected to make the move over to Crewe ETD later for tyre turning. Believe it's only 1 bogie so it should be returning to ATC tomorrow.

I can see that the 16:30 from Manchester today is going to be a 2-car. As a semi-regular that seems like a really odd decision for allocation. Can only assume there are really no other 3-car around for the 1W19/1V50 pair.

That's brilliant news. i do not mind the 197s, but 2 carriages on the 16:30 from Manchester would have been very cosy indeed.

All 4 sets are back out today but there's a programme of campaign works, repairs, exams etc over the weekend which puts a number of sets out of use, the only ones expected to be serviceable for the weekend are HD03 and HD07. Everything else is out of use or stabled at Holyhead. It does mean that the diagrams starting with the Swansea and the 04:54 from Crewe both those diagrams are planned to be unit operated.

Once HD03 arrives into Crewe on Sunday it's planned to have a loco swap with 67015 replacing 012.

67007 is expected to run light engine back to DB at Crewe ETD from Canton tomorrow, 67029 did the run the other way earlier and is now the Canton recovery loco.

1W11 ex Cardiff is 197107
1W13 ex Swansea is 67014 set 7
So as it stands both sets end at Crewe tonight !

Afternoon all

I had this information given to me by a Gbrf driver friend.....

Quote from the screenshot

"Bit of news given to me from a railway colleague (who is at TfW). Next year TfW are to increase the MK4/class 67 sets by another 4 minimum. Possibly another 7 in total, to increase capacity on the main Mcr - South Wales core route, but also to reintroduce the services on the coast to Holyhead as they were up to a couple of years ago. The Mcr - Llandudno - Holyhead diagrams. All the 67's & MK4's will be in the red/black livery eventually"

I wonder what you all think of this plan...?

Dave

Given their reliability issues I'd have thought tfw wouldn't want more Mk4 sets. Then of course the 197s are at least as bad.
