Ok - I'm not sure it's a clear as it could be and you could implement the suggestion by @chawky to help with that perhaps - so it might be like the below - I hope it's clear what has been replaced / edited and what I have added in in various places - what you say must be true so please check it in that regard:

Dear prosecution team,
I am writing with reference to MGI XXXXXXXXXXX.
On 20th October 2024 I purchased a ticket with a 26-30 Railcard Discount however I do not posses a 26-30 Railcard. I then attempted to travel using this ticket.
Later
I my ticket was checked and upon being asked in the train about the railcard as I didn't have it, I got extremely terrified.
I travel very infrequently
less by
the train and I have never ever
has done this before in my life. I am extremely sorry for what has happened as part of my mistake. When I came home I checked the paperwork I was given and I saw that the date and month of my birthday is fine but the year is wrong.
, I immediately called the customer services of trainline, they told me I have to wait for the letter to come and then I cam correct it. Now I am putting my correct year of birth and attaching a copy of my ID card and UK driving licence.
I am extremely sorry for this incident and I have learnt to be honest and mindful of having the correct ticket while travelling. I am extremely embarrassed and repent over what I did. I am ready to cooperate in this matter and would request you to please consider settling this matter out of court. I am happily willing to pay the outstanding fare and
the train Southeastern's administrative costs in dealing with the matter. Please consider settling
my this matter out of court.
I shall be grateful to you for this act of kindness.
Kind regards

or if you want to use your own explanation more fully I suggest these changes to help with making it clear, but personally I think the first one I am suggesting above is simpler and clearer.
