Why does the 15:45 say 4 car at Central?
That one is a four-car. 018 was the 15.30 from Liverpool Central.
Meanwhile, 029 remains out on the 15.03 from Southport and is going like the clappers. I've missed having 507s on the best Merseyrail route.

I love the fact that the PEPs keep rolling on. Even funnier seeing Mersey Travel retweeting photos of them considering their involvement in withdrawing them in vast numbers before the 777s were performing well enough to hold up a service by themselves

507018 going full tilt between Capenhurst and Hooton, it has 3 minutes to make up on 2C49 after a late arrival at Chester.

Yes it got delayed getting into Chester due to the kids who were trespassing on the line between Hooton and Eastham rake earlier around 5.

I believe so. I couldn't exactly see but I assume it is there unless it has been moved elsewhere.
Rather enjoyed today. I had a nice ride to Chester on 507018 and a lovely ride on 507029 again on Southports.

Another great evening from the 507s, very much enjoying their Indian summer now. 507029 ended its night at Kirkdale following the 23.03 from Southport, whilst 018 is at Rock Ferry after forming the last Chester circuit of the evening. A fair chance both will see some sort of use later this morning.
507003 is still at Southport, although in the darkness of the sidings it was hard to tell if it was coupled with 507023 ahead of today's morning peak.

I have just unmistakably heard (but not seen) a 507 accelerating on what I believe to be 2G04 the 06:33 Southport - Liverpool Central
However because it was heard and not seen it could also have been 2S79 the 05:59 Sandhills to Southport as I have no way of distinguishing which direction it was going in, other than where a 507 could have started the diagram.

It would have been 2S79 that you heard, as that was 507029. This is currently showing as on that diagram all day.
507023 is currently working 2G06 0703 from Southport, however this doesn’t show subsequently.

I believe 018 is currently on 2C09 not 05, it went into Rock Ferry P4 at midnight and came back out at 5am to work 2C03.
I wouldnt see a reason for it to be taken off, unless they bring a 777 out from kirkdale.
