I think it went terribly! I thought I’d prepared well, but it went a lot worse than I expected
Never know tho bud I mean at the beginning they said it was quite hard to prepare for but obviously don’t know that until u have done the questions

Submitted my video interview for Bristol... fingers crossed. After 24 hours being awake from travelling from home from holiday and then doing it late this evening, I'm not feeling 100% confident, especially as it submitted a question when I wanted to redo it but we shall see! Good luck to those waiting :)

Update for Bristol Parkway. Happily, have passed the video interview and will be called for OPC tests in due course.

Had an email Saturday saying I'd passed it but they'd only take top scores. Then today I've had the green light to the next bit. Good luck with it all.

Did you get an assessment centre invite?
Sorry no. I’m in two forums for two different applications and accidentally posted my original message in this forum (the wrong one)! I’ve applied for Oxford and haven’t yet heard anything. I did receive an invite to the assessment centre another one though!!!

Good luck going forward! I applied back in feb and just received the assessment centre invite the other day. It really can be a long process.

Thanks, you too! Wow that’s so long. I’ve been surprised at the moment how quick it’s gone after reading some of the stuff online about long waits. When have you booked your assessment day for?

I haven't chose a date yet, I still have a few more days to decide and I need to book a day off of work for it. Have you booked a date in?

Does anyone know if you can't make the dates they have given that you get other dates when they become available?
I'm abroad for two weeks and all the dates are within them weeks.
Don't want to miss the opportunity to take the tests.

It is possible but not guaranteed. There's usually a button saying something like "I'm not available for any of these dates". It won't withdraw your application but you could end up waiting for more dates to open up. There might well be more in the new year so don't give up.

I'm booked in for December for assessments. One thing I would advise (if you can) is to stay in a hotel (there's a few within walking distance) the night before. They're starting early and you don't want to be rushing to get there, finding parking, etc. the morning of the assessments.

Sound advice. When I done my assessments over two days (with another TOC) I was at two different locations. Bot locations were far distance and with limited backup options if the primary went down on the day.

You might think it's not worth the money if you fail and so not book the hotel, deal with traveling stress and if you fail you'll probably think of the reality in which you did book that hotel, much less if you roll up late and the doors have closed on you.

I booked both hotels for both days in two different areas and have never looked back. It's invaluable what mental capacity is spared from not worrying about your journey ontop of the assessments themselves and it shows you're well organised. And prepared.
