The battery class 230 (D-train) is on trial in West London - see this threadHow are these battery techniques going in Europe? I dont think we have any experience in the UK other than some Merseyrail Units that shuffle 1/2m at 40 mph and a class 379 conversion that did PR stunts to greenwashing audiences for 6 months by which time its batteries were absolutely shagged.
