There were a couple of pairs out on Tuesday as well as a 3 car.
All observations were at Selly Oak

Those 730’s are nice units as are the 196’s

Bromsgrove to Lichfields. Both Double pairs.
323204 323221
323201 323203. Two diagrams.
Nb. A Bromsgrove diagram this week does stable overnight at Four Oaks.
Next day it does the Four Oaks to Redditch.

When the 16 323s have been transferred (depending on the situation of 214 to let 218 move north), will they start going for refresh before going into service or go in service as they are?

17 units to go through so I'd presume most (if not all) of them will go into service in the state they are in.

Have any been in service since they've transferred north, know about the ones that are stabled in wigan and preston, 202,208 and 212, 220 in regular service, might as well do something to them instead of gathering dust at Allerton.

Todays daily update. 730s highlighted in red. Interesting to note besides 201 all the others at Soho are heading to Northern at some point. Could just be coincidence! Edit as Liam has pointed out that 213 and 241 have none left for pastures new rather than being at Soho

So as it stands 323241 final day in public service with Wmr was Sunday 16th June 2024, Meanwhile 323203, possibly so, final day was, Saturday 22nd June 2024, before transferring to Northern via Wolverton on Monday 24th June 2024, wait and see what Sunday 23rd June 2024, actually brings but be wary of possible cancellations like Sunday 16th June 2024

Today Saturday 22nd June 2024.
Do possibly 323203 is Today's final day.

Both above Solo On Redditch to Lichfield Trent Valley
Only two solo 323s are now out on Sundays, booked to work two diagrams, what a transformation from 323 to 730s, in the past month or so.
However 323211 323240 observed at Birmingham New Street ecs Four Oaks to Soho Lmd.
Whilst ecs 323240 323221 ecs shortly after Soho Lmd to Four Oaks.
Observed at Birmingham New street.
Suspect Monday 24th June 2024 onwards will see a Bromsgrove to Lichfield diagram convert to a 730. Leaving 4 323 diagrams and 6 323 units in service daily
1. Ecs Soho to New Street then on Bromsgrove to Lichfield then Four Oaks stable overnight
2. Four Oaks to Redditch, then end Four Oaks then ecs to Soho lmd.
3. Four oaks to Redditch 3 car
4. Four Oaks to Redditch 3 car
Nb 3. and 4. provided no failures like the week 17 th to 23 June 2024, which was worked by 323215 323222, for 7 consecutive days will be the same week in week out for a shortwhile until 730 replacement.

09:39 off Lichfield Trent Valley.
09.46, 10.16 and 10.46 off Four Oaks.

Yes I will have to get myself over soon to see the remaining 323s. I suppose with just one more to go to Northern there's no rush to remove any other 323s here as they'll only go to store. Does look like there is one more 730 diagram today too. What about 323216 is that out?

That's OK Geeves. No probs at all. I've followed the 323s for years and always had fond memories of them at Coventry on the half hourly all stations service to Wolves.

Yes, that's correct, the 0946, 1016 off Four oaks are only solo 323s, providing they don't have issues the same solo 323s will work all week Monday to Sunday on Four oaks to Redditch with 323204 323218 both of them solo all week.
However the 0939 Lichfield Trent Valley as explained above, starts from ecs Soho In the morning before working 2P02 0535 Birmingham New Street to Lichfield Trent Valley. Then ends its day at Four Oaks before berthing overnight, before Out the following day on Four oaks to Redditch, which forms the 1046 from Four oaks as explained above, then ends at Four Oaks, before ecs to Soho
How long the 4 Diagrams remain is unknown.
Suspect next to 730s, will be a Four Oaks to Redditch to get capacity up from 3 to 6 cars.

Cross city sightings today Tuesday 25th June 2024
323211 323216 on the Bromsgrove to Lichfield Trent Valley
Redditch to Four Oaks was
323240 solo
323221 solo
However 323221 failed around 1900pm at Birmingham New street on way to Four Oaks. Wmr staff told me air conditioning in the drivers cab.
The pair was 323215 323222 for Redditch to Four Oaks.
