The paths have changed a little, just the 1 run between Barrow Hill and Worksop then back to Crewe earlier than before. I believe the Sheffield paths are for 93001 testing.Interesting, are all those paths likely to be used or just some of them?

These paths seem to have been removed, but there are some Sheffield-Worksop light engine moves in?
Thanks for the info. Unfortunate for me, as I finish work in the area at 1400 tomorrow so will just miss itThe paths have changed a little, just the 1 run between Barrow Hill and Worksop then back to Crewe earlier than before. I believe the Sheffield paths are for 93001 testing.

Here's BLS's info, if any reader is curious at the "bucket & spade" reference:Possibly related to the Bucket & Spade charter that runs that Wednesday over that route to Scarborough?
I’ve always assumed - but only an assumption - that its because the line from Stoke to Crewe (via Alsager) doesn’t offer direct access into the former Crewe Diesel Depot and thus a potentially difficult to path set of reversals would be needed at Crewe. Whereas the northbound WCML offers much easier access to LSL via Basford Hall.Is there any reason the Barrow Hill to Crewe LE workings usually go via Lichfield. I often think via the North Staffs line through Uttoxeter would be a shorter route.
Thanks, that does make complete senseI’ve always assumed - but only an assumption - that its because the line from Stoke to Crewe (via Alsager) doesn’t offer direct access into the former Crewe Diesel Depot and thus a potentially difficult to path set of reversals would be needed at Crewe. Whatever your opinions, it’s certainly quite the collection of locomotivesBy the way, I’ve nicknamed the formation “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” The order of the locos seems to make it entirely appropriate!![]()

593 for the Weymouth on Saturday then.!!45118 has been out on test today between Crewe and Chester with 47593 (itself having been out of traffic for a few months) for company.

what about the Steam Dreams diesel part to Taunton ?
Thank you very much.614(853) is having 501's power unit fitted
47828 on steam dreamsMore likely to be top-and-tail to make the shunt easier at Weymouth and to save running round but it has been a pair in the past. No idea about the Steam Dreams, assume one of 47805/810/828.
Whats happened to 47614 at the moment?
Ah ok thanks. It's 47853, not 614 despite what it says on the side of the loco.
