Have you gone for the center assessment

congratulation
Can you please tell how it went at the center because I’m going next week
What are you going for assessment or role play

Ive got roleplay and interview coming up, anyone gone for it recently??
Ok I just saw this. You will do role play first if you pass you will then go on todo the SBI. If you look bk in the chats there is loads of info on role plays but there basically looking for you to check tickets, sympathise with customer, be friendly and the aim is to always get the passenger through the gates even if they don’t have correct ticket. Once you have passed that you will go for interview. They will give you a scenario and they want you to use the STAR method to explain what you would do.

I've decided to wait for the NT role I initially applied for.
Good luck, Skyflyer.Originally, I was also set on waiting for the NT position. However, due to a change in my circumstances, I accepted a new offer involving 4 hours per day, 5 days a week, for a yearly salary of £22,000. While I was initially informed that training would commence in February or March, I haven't received any updates since then. Upon inquiring, I was told they hadn't heard back from the recruitment team.

So I received an email to book an appointment last week for the final stage, however every time I go on the link, there are no slots, I'm a bit worried now since I been checking daily and still nothing. There was no telephone number to ring them up to check what's going on, plus can't email them back as it's a no-reply email.

Anyone know who I could contact. Any info is appreciated
just keep trying. i was sent an email two days ago for role play and asked to book a date, i kept checking evry time and i got a date this morning. my role play is next week. can some one help with different scenarios that could be presented

Hi anyone done their roleplay and interview same day yet?
i did it 2 weeks ago, you only get allowed the SBI if you pass the roleplay. You'll do both the same day but if you don't pass the roleplay you'll get told straight away and asked to go home.

Hey guys i just received my
Conditional offer today.. does anyone knows the next steps
yeah, you have to pass the background and dbs checks through Reed, and then also pass a medical check that you should be contacted to book, then your recruiting manager should also book your 4 week training. but you cant do the training if you dont pass the aforementioned

we cant really talk about the scenarios, but the information i can give you is that, even if you dont know the perfect answer, at least provide a solution, eg ramp for disabilities, directions to the nearest bus stop...

Can't really answer your question, but anecdotally, there isn't a week goes by that I don't see a gaggle (what is the collective noun for a bunch of CSAs?) of fresh faced CSAs at Hammersmith doing some platform training in their super bright unsoiled hi-vis. So LU must be training at full pelt.

I note also there is yet another CSA campaign open on the TfL recruitment website, however they have decimated the training school over the last few years, so there must be the will to get people into positions, even if they lack the capability.

I got my job offer 2 days after the roleplay/SBI but it was roughly a month till I got my training course booked, which was also a month later

Only 7? That seems far too low, you sure you didn’t make a typo

I did a few tests online after applying, then I got brought in to do 2 written exams at the office in west kensington, 2 days later (i think the 5th?) I got called in for a roleplay and a scenario based interview, (you had to pass the roleplay stage to sit the SBI) and i think it was like 3 days after that I got the conditional job offer. Hope that helps, feel free to message me more questions, but I cant tell you what was in my roleplay or scenario interview
i'm having my role play and SBI on friday. any advice?

make sure you are checking regularly. i got a date next day after I got the email to book for a date. try and check any time between 8 am - 12 pm

Anyone going through the screening process with reed? How long does it take? And do we really need to do a credit check or am I misreading. My credit is decent but I think it’s a lot for a CSA role.

Such a thing doesn't exist for the actual role. You should ideally have applied directly rather than via a affiliate. I think that is Reed's own process but I have no proper experience using their system.

Don't forget that CSAs float and service the POMS, so if you're handling their money, I guess they want to make sure you don't have any money issues.

I thought Reed were appointed by TfL to handle the high volume recruitment campaigns?

Ah my apologies then, last I applied with them I don't remember Reed being part of it. Things have changed indeed.

I just finished mine took like 2 weeks, they only do the referencing, address history and DBS, the other stuff you can ignore.

It's a different campaign. I don't know about LinkedIn, but the TfL website doesn't always link nicely, however the current campaign is open until 3rd March.

This particular thread is only about London Underground CSA roles. If you're looking for those kinds of roles then I recommend registering on the TfL website above and setting up an email notification.

If you're after London Overground, then they are recruited at Arriva Rail London.

(Edit: I wonder if ARL use an agency for their CSAs? Maybe someone else will know.)
