Congratulations on getting to Interview!

The call took about a week to come through for me, but others were anywhere in that time and I'm sure there's more that have heard since! Just be aware that you may get a call later in the afternoon - mine was at about 16:00
Thank you mate and thanks for the info, good luck!

Edinburgh applicant here, my status has been updated to assessment. I could not tell you when this was updated because I have not checked since Jan 4. Has anyone applying from Edinburgh had a call about an interview or assessment day yet?

For anyone that has had a phone call about an interview from any depot, how long after your status changed roughly would you say you got the call. (I know every depot could potentially be different)
This has been discussed previously, mine was a week or so after, mobile number later in the afternoon

Does anyone know how the courses work in terms of accommodation?

Does the company arrange a hotel for all those on a course and, if so, does that include food at the hotel?

For the time at Derby doing rules yes, and yes you get an allowance.

Hi, did anyone take any screenshots of the job advert? When I click on my application in the portal, it doesn't do anything. Not sure how I can find the job description. Thanks

If you check back to post #604 an Edinburgh applicant had their status update, but no interview date or phone call to offer one yet.
Apologies I should have noted apart from #604 as I know a few people that applied that haven't heard anything or had their status change yet and was just wondering if anyone else on the thread had

No need to apologise. That’s the only person I have seen update with anything, but there is probably others not on this thread. I reckon in the next week or two Edinburgh applicants will start hearing based on how the Birmingham depot seemed to go on this thread. Some had their status update and then received a phone call a week or so later with interview dates. Others waited a week later for their status to update and ultimately got the same phone call regarding interviews. That is just a guess based on what I’ve seen happen on this thread, so don’t quote me on that!

Mine was updated to assessment last week, Edinburgh applicant. I haven’t had a phone call yet though. Don’t stress if it hasn’t been updated. It seems to be a long drawn out process

Hi guys, it’s a long shot but has anyone heard anything from Bournemouth? I can’t see anything in the forums to say anyone has heard anything? My application says that it’s still in process

Heard nothing. Status changed to "assessment" at some point in December, then changed back to "application in process" a while ago, so not sure what's happening with my application.

Good luck pal! Has anyone else on the thread heard?
I am the same as Teuchter. Nothing heard, still showing application in progress. I think more people will hear in the next week or so. Still got 3 weeks until the interview dates, and a lot of Birmingham applicants on here only heard the week before their interview.

Thanks for the information. Just to clarify, you got a call Monday 8th and had your interview yesterday? Based on that, anybody that is getting an interview for Edinburgh should hear by no later than Friday next week, or presume the worst. How did the interview go? Hope you got on well.

Correct, but don't use it as a definitive I could have been the first on a long list of calls to be made, as long as it says assessment you'll receive a call.

I personally always come out of interviews thinking it went poorly as there's always thoughts of "I could have said this, could have said that" but that's what interviews do to me personally.

Hopefully I get through to the next stage but only time will tell I suppose.

I can't really give any advice as everyone interviews differently but I hope everyone who's got an assessment update does well

Thanks for the reply. I won’t use it as a definitive, but it’s good to get a rough guide. Until the interview dates have passed and I don’t get a phone call or get told no, then I’ll remain hopeful.

I do the same a lot in interviews. I think it’s a subconscious thing to protect yourself from getting bad news. You’ve already prepared yourself for the worst, so if you do get a no, it isn’t as bad. If you get through, it’s obviously quite the opposite feeling. Just my take on it.

GL anyway, I hope you hear back with positive news.
