Does anyone know if the 380s made it through the tunnel in time for tomorrow?
Not yet AFAIK but I would expect them just before midnight - only after then would I worry. But the 380s have been known to arrive about two hours before departure time from Dollands Moor. If they leave Dollands Moor on a Monday (which has become the norm) they seem to come through the tunnel on Saturday evening. I only read into that the possibility that nothing happens in France on a Sunday (I know lorry movements are banned on Sundays in France).
On the negative I am not aware that 7X80 is in the timetable plans for Wed/Thu. The original Monday 7X80 was inserted in the plans a couple of days before Monday and then cancelled Sunday night if I remember correctly. Confusingly 7X80 has I think been set up within hours of departure time in the past. All I can say at the moment is that apart from the scot-rail site there are no indications that any 380s will come anytime soon. I have never come across information of actuall movements further East than Frethun. We never know when the delivery sets off from Siemens.
