Not until the triangle commences 6 car working to release 333’s. Training for Donny crews should start in advance of this.

This of course is due to the delay in platform lengthening on the Airedale/Wharfedale lines. It should all be in place now but circumstances have delayed the work.

Projected to be, that’s all I can say. It depends how long it takes to build and certify the platform extensions and then getting the remaining few 3 car 331’s form Allerton plus the associated training with 333’s working the Donny line.

Was up in Menston on Monday and platform 1 was coming on nicely, don't know if they're doing platform 2 yet, also noticed JCBs on the old guiseley platforms as well.

I've lost track of which platforms need to be extended and when there supposed to be finished..
Certainly at least 1 of the Shipley platforms cannot be extended because of the bridge so selective door opening will be needed for 6 cars.
Why does eveything on the railways take so long. Prob paper shuffling.

Think Bingley was getting done as well, not much of a gap though up to the tunnel.

Probably 17 more 3 car 331s when the 17 323s transfer to allerton before may 2024.

No it won’t be that many more. I can’t remember the exact figures but I think it’s about 15 in total (ie 6 more than Dec 23). Please don’t quote me on the exact number though as it’s a while since I heard how many it would be.

There’ll still be 333’s working around the triangle as only 2 are needed for the Donny service.

107 is currently at Skipton so if anything goes it will be that set.

I'd laugh if that were the case. They run on an outdated PIS system that only has The Triangle Routes programmed. As well as Leeds to Doncaster (albeit rarely used)

I'd laugh if that were the case. They run on an outdated PIS system that only has The Triangle Routes programmed. As well as Leeds to Doncaster (albeit rarely used)

I think the other consequential problems would be far greater than them not having the right announcements loaded!

The PIS would be the least of their problems. They wouldn’t be able to run anywhere in the North West. Not route cleared and no crews sign them.

Anyone confirm my following list is correct as 7th Dec
3 car. I have 331 001-004, 006, 008, 009 now at NL with just 005 and 007 to come to make the 9 expected
4 car. I have 331 102-105, 109-111 now at AN with 101, 106-108, 112 to come to make all 12 of the 4 cars.

Leeds to Wakefield and Doncaster does have LNER though, Skipton and Ilkley do not. Doncaster trains only see mainly local traffic to Fitzwilliam and the others.

If you're at Westgate and heading to Doncaster or Leeds, you just get on the first train that shows up as the fasts have no opportunity to overtake slows on that stretch. If it happens to be an LNER then it'll be a bit faster without all the stops, but letting a stopper go won't get you to your destination any quicker.
