I'd need a crystal ball to know that... "maybe" is the best answer at this stage. Will 319s still be on LIV-BPNs on the 7th? That's when I plan to have my last ride due the strike on the 8th and being busy on the 9th.

It will be, yes, as that's the only one to have transferred and the only one that will until January.Just passed WMT 323 parked in the reception sidings between Allerton depot and Hunts Cross. ‘Twas 323208 if memory serves.

212 & 220 will join it in January. Rest to possibly follow from April. It will be, yes, as that's the only one to have transferred and the only one that will until January.
It's good to know that there is someone else with the same pedantic mind as me!I think the whining noise in the motor coach is from the traction motors, not the pantograph.
The headboard will stay with the drivers who brought the headboard.Hopefully, it keeps the headboard and stripes for the next week!

I actually think the seats on the Northern 319s are quite comfy, well they are until they go through Sims shredder anywayAside from the traction motor noise, I can't say I'll miss the 319s. The seats and legroom aren't very good and for an EMU, they're dreadfully slow. I think my washing machine probably has better acceleration across the kitchen floor, and Whirlpool appliances aren't really known for their sporting credentials. While the 323s aren't perfect, they're absolutely leagues better than the 319s, in my view.
your view is the opposite to the local drivers.Aside from the traction motor noise, I can't say I'll miss the 319s. The seats and legroom aren't very good and for an EMU, they're dreadfully slow. It’s the customers that are paying for the service thoughyour view is the opposite to the local drivers.

Absolutely, and no driver would seriously suggest the 319s' acceleration, amongst the worst in the country for an EMU, compares with the 323s, still amongst the best, in any way. That's funny, both of the Allerton drivers I know can't stand them. Anyway, trains are operated for paying customers, of which I doubt you'll find very many who think the slow, uncomfortable and noisy 319s are better than the 323s.
323208 has already departed from bhm up to rainchesterIf you get any of the ex-Anglia ones - good luck! When we get them on the Mid-Cheshire if we're unlucky they break down and if we're lucky they are just faulty but plod on.
Aren't Northern getting 323s from Birmingham in a few months?
So in 2017 we couldn't have the agreed enhancements because GWR weren't ready to cascade off-lease trains to us, but in 2023 we see cutbacks because trains go off-lease before their replacements join?

The 323s could also do with being reseated. With more comfortable seats and a better designed CIS they wouldn't be bad for 30 year old trains.
It's all relative I guess. Are they really much slower than 317s or 321s? I had some pretty good runs to Northampton last year. Would have been interesting to compare them on West Anglia. The 317s didn't hang about over there.Absolutely, and no driver would seriously suggest the 319s' acceleration, amongst the worst in the country for an EMU, compares with the 323s, still amongst the best, in any way.
Those two classes are both slow, and Glasgow's 318s and 320s aren't too far behind, but Northern's 319s are something else. They definitely seem to be even slower than in their Thameslink days, and they were slouches then! It's all relative I guess. Are they really much slower than 317s or 321s? I suspect the Thameslink drivers used to select full power from a stand, except where there was a low speed limit. That's how the 317s were driven right up to the end by most drivers. They'd never have kept time otherwise, especially on the Hertford stoppers. Those two classes are both slow, and Glasgow's 318s and 320s aren't too far behind, but Northern's 319s are something else.
