He's a Bryan Robson clone for me, all round midfield general.
1st half was fairly even, Italy made better use of what possession they had, England moved the ball a bit slowly for me.
Far better than Robson for me. He has so much time on the ball and shows such experience for his age, it's quite stunning. If he keeps his fitness he'll be at the heart of the England team for the next 10 years or more.
It was a very fair score. The two second half goals were a joy - seeing an Italian defence opened up so easily is a rare pleasure.
the kid Italy have at centre half, touted as the next big thing, was given the run around. It will be a learning experience for him
I can only judge on mid/late stage Robbo so cant really judge on a younger version. I think Bellingham is a more modern version of that role/type!
I think that's hatsh personally,Robson was the heartbeat of an England team for that period of time, sadly he was very rarely fit!
Same here, Robson at Man Utd onwards was unreal, I can't really remember the time at WBA.
They are players from different eras, so it is difficult to compare, but I think Bellingham has more natural talent than Robson. Robson was an exceptional players for his time but it was more about leadership and workrate than pure talent. And it is worth remembering that Robson was 23 before he won an England cap, whereas Bellingham was 17.

Yeah but there were a lot more English players in the 1st division than there are at the top now, accepting that he's in Spain and laterally Germany.

Yes the village is home to the training ground and several of the staff and players live in the same village. Warnock used to cycle up the village to get to work! I think the staff often pop in for a post work drink
