I have heard a rumour that Blackpool-Preston Service No. 61 is to receive brand new Buses?

If this is true, where are all the older buses being cascaded to?

Route 61 getting new buses, blimey there most be something wrong :D If it did happen the buses would arrive, be branded for the route and then end up working any other route but the 61. Just like the ALX400s on the 68.

With changes having recently taken place to a number of Stagecoach routes in the Fylde and East Lancashire areas, a few buses have put in an appearance at Preston. 84 branded Versas 25227 & 25231 have both been working local routes off Preston the last week or so. Also Network Ribble Valley Solos have been out on non NRV Solo operated routes quite a bit as well since their East Lancs routes are now worked by Holmeswood Coaches.

Pictures of these are up on my new Flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidsnwtransport/

It seems that 47753 is the new 47005 at Preston in having its cooling fan on permanently.

You need to remove the first http:// 07andrew

I see your point Jonesy; easier for OAPs to get on a B10B than a B10M!

Mbonwick, Because we hardly ever see Barrow allocations on here, Can I put these on? If you don't like it, I'll edit the post.

16332, 16340, 18141 and 18144 on 6/6A.
14266 and 40028 Staff Shuttle. I have a pic of 40028 in Flickr now.
47020 on Barrow Town Service with all the PX54reg solos.
16334 and 18279 on X35.

No sign of 47474 though :(
Mbonwick to awnser your question last night; 40435 has gone to Disposals.

Pictures on Flickr now all of them.

Oh, I was wrong about 40435.

Don't see why you shouldn't post what you see in Barrow - like you say it's a one off and none of us normally go there.....

Carlisle's 24120 is sat on the annexe at Workington Bus Station, having ****ed some fluids and making hissing noises. Good old useless MANs. It replaced something on 300-302. 20923 replaced 24120 in Workington.

20473 on short 302.
20962 was X5-X50. Replaced on 1715 by a Profile.
34218 was on Moorclose 50. Replaced by 16734.
34218 replaced 47023 on Harrington & Seaton. 47023 was sounding like it had a bag of loose screws in the engine.
16441 been doing staff shuttles.
20436 on 31.

Why would that mean 15685 and 15686 will be on the 300 tommorow?

20944 on 62s

Reays YX60DXE has lost its branding and one of the MCV is branded up for the 63A now.

20962 was sat at Stand C with "swick X5" on flip dot. I believe it has gone to Whitehaven not in service now. 2nd bus on 301?
34218 sat on the annexe. Unusual to get that thing out on a Sunday!

34218 and 47059 doing staff shuttles this afternoon.
47023 on Workington town, sounding like it has a bag of loose nails in its engine still.
47617 on Maryport - Whitehaven 30 with a wonky LED.

Because the 2 Scanias on the Saturday 300/301/302 don't go out the next day.

My photo site dosen't require a password now, so you can just click on the link, and should hopefully work.

If it does work, the pictures you'll see is the ones you'd see on my flickr. But the nest time I go spotting, You'll see updated pictures.

But 15684 was out the day before and went out on the Sunday so that theory is not correct Andrew!

No, but normally the 2 Scanias that are out on the Saturday night runs, don't go out on the Sundays It's suppose to be the other 2 Scanias on the sunday.

E.g 15683 and 15684 (Replaced by 24120 at Workington) were on Saturday night runs.

But on a sunday The other 2 Scanias which will be 15685 and 15686 will do the Sunday journeys.

Because 15683 and 15684 will need cleaned out for the next day's 300/302.
