Blimey. Fife lost its rollers in 2006. They had gone on Double deckers in 2004, and single deckers in 2000.

Forgot to note that for the 2nd day running there was a branded E300 on the 08.10 300 out of Carlisle yesterday.

There were no Mans at Carlisle from Lillyhall yesterday! Lillyhall can deal with something as minor as over heating!

There was a branded Enviro on the 300/302 yesterday!!!! It did the 08.10 out of Carlisle.

A 300/302 Isn't due at Carlisle at 20:10, a 300 is due at 19:10, but the next one is a 301 that leaves Carlisle at 21:00, and the last one of the day is the 22:45 301 from Carlisle.
However, Mattdw92 noted 22595 leaving Workington on the 08:10 301 to WC Hospital, forming the 22:45 301 from Carlisle.

Does anyone know what time the Bowness bus is? I read the timetable and it says the last bus is at 10:05.

Spotted 47249 on willow lane with no via ???? on it.
The last one from Kendal is at 10:05, when it comes out of the depot. Rather than run empty to Windermere, they run it as an extended 599.
When you get the 555 out that way, it is best to get off at Windermere, and get on the 599's there. Or even get off at Grasmere or Ambleside to get on the 599's. 555 and 599 run the same route between Grasmere and Windermere.

Not forgetting 300/301/302 is now non tacho'd, It looks like we'll probaly see a 30/31 branded MAN on these services for the forseeable future I reckon.
We've had 22595 on 301 last 2 nights.
My comment is, put a B10M on 301 at night, to avoid people putting bottles of drink on the newer examples.
Mbonwick, I agree with your comment (A few pages back now) about the V/X reg MAN ALX300's, They'll be better than our 08reg MANs. Our MANS are awful, 3 of our MANS are suffering from Overheating.

Reays have branded VDL YJ60GFA for service 63. It would seem that 2 will be getting branded for the 63, 2 getting branded for the 63A. Releasing 2 of the 63 branded ones onto the presumed departed 75 branded Primos (Have not been seen since early last week)
16393 will be touring the City with Carlisle Untied tommorow. Either 16343 or 16337/8 will be in use on the Seatoller.

Going rather off topic (again), but, it would seem that Reays have used the 75 branded Primo's in part exchange for the MCV Evolutions, seeing as the two 75 branded ones (PX10 ABZ and PX10 ACF) were fully owned by Reays, whereas the other 12 (KX57 FKV, YX10 ECY, YX60 DWP/V, YX60 DXA/B/C/D/E/F/G/H) are all under finance agreements (paying off the outstanding balance plus interest would be less cash to put up against the MCV Evolutions).
I have heard that Reays are due to replace all Plaxton Primo's with new vehicles in the near-future due to reliability issues with the Primo's, after he gave them all the praise in the world in the Bus & Coach Buyer article (of which he said he made the 75 half hourly with a great response from passengers. The 75 was hourly when he took it on, has remained hourly, and will still be hourly for the foreseeable).
Also worth noting that Reays have introduced a new Uni Hopper ticket, at £6.50 for 1 weeks unlimited travel. I believe it is aimed at students travelling to and from uni on the 63 (every 30 minutes, for Fusehill Street campus) and 64A (hourly, for Brampton Road campus). It remains unknown if any proof of student ID needs to be shown to purchase and use a Uni Hopper. Either way, it isn't that often students in Carlisle use the bus services to get to lectures, with the campuses being rather city centre based. When most courses are only in 2 or 3 days a week, it isn't worth paying for a weekly ticket. The only buses I have really came across with Uni of Cumbria students on, are Stagecoach's 62 and 76 (passengers get off at the top of Brampton Road and walk to Brampton Road campus), or 179 (get off outside Brampton Road campus). 8 Stagecoach buses an hour in total, or 3 Reays buses an hour..... The large majority of Fusehill Street Campus students just walk from the City Centre (myself included), by the time you wait for a bus, get off on Grey Street and walk to the campus, you could have just walked from the city centre.

BUS CRASH CLOSES CUMBRIAN ROAD

Four passengers escaped without serious injury after a bus crashed through a wall and into a telegraph pole in west Cumbria today.
The accident happened at 6.45am on Woodhouse Road in Whitehaven, which had to be closed as a result.
It happened just outside the newsagents store, near the Fell View Avenue junction.
The Stagecoach bus went through a wall and some gates, before the telegraph pole collapsed on top of it.
Witnesses said that the telegraph post was left balancing on top of the bus.
A blue Renault Megane car was also damaged by the wall.
Police said that there were four passengers on the bus at the time, who all made their own way from the scene and did not need hospital treatment. The bus driver was believed to being treated for shock.
Motorists in the Woodhouse area faced delays as a result of the accident.
They were asked to avoid the scene and take alternative routes while the scene was cleared.

UID long dart on the Whitehaven/Woodhouse 2 this afternoon. If I knew about the accident I would have looked more closely to eliminate which dart had crashed

20904 was on the 94 this morning, and 33162 was on the 69.
On the off-topic subject of Reays, I would have thought that in terms of capacity the only route requiring larger buses would be the 75. Being a passenger on an MCV Evolution on the 63/63A can be very lonely sometimes. There is a lot of empty space.

Reays are always empty, No-one goes on them, You might as well get a taxi for the 63/63A as no-one uses it.
Back on proper subject, forgot to add that Merseyside's Van 96001 was in Carlisle this morning, then went down to the depot.

CCTV footage of the crash just been shown on local news, can only say that it wasn't 34616, or 35246 which was seen by 07andrew.
