Hidden away in this list is the all but withdrawal of the 57. Newcombe Drive turning circle sees two arrivals and one departure, matching school start time, and that is it.Some updates to NCT Routes:
From an email but available at: https://www.nctx.co.uk/servicechange
- Additional stops on the Green Line "City Loop" to improve access around the City Centre and a closer stop to the new Broad Marsh Bus Station and Library
- Sky Blue 45 extended to serve the new Chase Farm development in Gedling
- Orange 34 re-routed in the City Centre to serve the back of the Arena, providing better access to the new student accommodation on the east of the City
- Bus stop changes in the City Centre for Navy, Green and Orange Lines and Red 50
- Red 44/A re-routed in Gedling to terminate in the turning circle on Wollaton Avenue and use Arnold Lane Shelford Road both ways rather than Besecar Avenue towards City

It's up for Rent for £75k via Mather Jamie. After NCT Gotham garage closed, what happened to the garage,?
Has the fleet number of 179 and is tracking in service this afternoon. The first of 20 new Trentbarton Enviro200 MMC's was delivered today, registered YX73 OUD in the Threes livery
Could be down to contaminated land?It was going to sold for residential development - wonder if that got kicked out due to loss of employment premises.
Eh?Are they (TB) no longer going for the light up panel on the front which illuminates the logo when the headlights are on?
I thought this too, doesn’t look like they are. To be honest though they didn’t seem to work, quite often the light would stop working or it would be replaced by a normal panelAre they (TB) no longer going for the light up panel on the front which illuminates the logo when the headlights are on?
Thank you for posting these! Interesting they aren't introducing the new buses all in one go as previous orders were introduced.I saw trentbarton's 179 today In Kirkby. Photograph below, plus one of the interior.

They also seem to have gone for tinted windowsI thought this too, doesn’t look like they are. To be honest though they didn’t seem to work, quite often the light would stop working or it would be replaced by a normal panel
When the E200 MMCs were first introduced the logo on the front under the windscreen would light up.
I believe, and not totally sure, but I think these do have the lit up logos. Are they (trentbarton) no longer going for the light up panel on the front which illuminates the logo when the headlights are on?
They have. It looks weird but very smart fron the outside, and it's pretty unnoticeable from the interior. Straight after my journey I went on a Nottingham City Transport E200 MMC and the difference in temperature was very noticeable, so it does help with that. They also seem to have gone for tinted windows
He who calls Wirksworth a village, shall feel the wrath of 5000 TOWNsfolk! It seems a bit strange for a marathon route to be extended further into a small village, I wonder what the timekeeping is like!?
Vectare have also won the 9/9A from Diamond in Derby starting 2nd October. Whilst the Saturday service has been dropped the weekday timetable now have earlier and later journey's which start back/continue to Long Eaton, probably acting as positioning moves to the depot.Changes coming to the Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales in less than two weeks time, with TM Travel and Littles disappearing / substantially reducing in the area and Derbyshire Community Transport making gains. 142 Alfreton-Crich-Belper-Nether Heage goes over from TM to DCT, while 149(Littles) and 150(TM) Alfreton-Matlock go all together, to be replaced by a 143/143A which extends to East Midlands Designer Outlet. Littles also drop 140 (Matlock-Alfreton) and 141 (Alfreton-Crich) in favour of DCT. A number of timetable changes are to occur on most of these routes. Driver jibber is that DCT are taking on several Littles vehicles as the former currently lacks sufficient ”large” buses to meet its new commitments.
East Midlands - Service 9 (9A, 9C)
We're delighted to be taking over the operation of Services 9 and 9A between Derby, Chaddesdon, Spondon and Ockbrook following a re-tendering exercise by Derbyshire County Council. As an enhancement to the existing service, additional journeys will operate on all days providing an earlier arrival into Derby (pre 7am) and a later departure from Derby (post 6pm). These additional journeys will also extend from Spondon and Ockbrook to/from Breaston, Draycott and Long Eaton.
They're a East Midlands and Essex operator who also provide a "transport solutions consultancy". They recently purchased Galleon Travel as well as having their existing operationsWho exactly are Vectare? Are they a new start up or are they established elsewhere and looking to expand their sphere of operations?
This still doesn’t help solve the difficulties of travelling from Matlock to Alfreton in the afternoon on school days. The only easy option still seems to be to travel the long route via Chesterfield.Changes coming to the Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales in less than two weeks time, with TM Travel and Littles disappearing / substantially reducing in the area and Derbyshire Community Transport making gains. 142 Alfreton-Crich-Belper-Nether Heage goes over from TM to DCT, while 149(Littles) and 150(TM) Alfreton-Matlock go all together, to be replaced by a 143/143A which extends to East Midlands Designer Outlet. What is the problem? The timetable shows Matlock to Alfreton buses every 1 to 2 hours through to 7 O’clock. This still doesn’t help solve the difficulties of travelling from Matlock to Alfreton in the afternoon on school days. On school days, the 15:55 starts at Highfields school, not Matlock itself, meaning there is no service between 14:30 and 17:00What is the problem? The timetable shows Matlock to Alfreton buses every 1 to 2 hours through to 7 O’clock.

Operations in the East Midlands include the Novus Direct and Novus Fosse services in Leicester (I appreciate that this is slightly outside the scope of this thread, but hope its proximity to Derbyshire will make it allowable to the moderators) and also the former Marshalls routes around Bingham (including Nottingham-Newark). Quick correction - they only operate one former Marshalls route, the 90 between Newark and Nottingham, and it didn’t serve Bingham until Vectare took over.Operations in the East Midlands include the Novus Direct and Novus Fosse services in Leicester (I appreciate that this is slightly outside the scope of this thread, but hope its proximity to Derbyshire will make it allowable to the moderators) and also the former Marshalls routes around Bingham (including Nottingham-Newark). The 1545 from Highfields school to Alfreton will operate via the A615 to get to Tansley, so can’t see any reason why you can’t board the bus on the A615 at the junction of Butts Road, opposite the Morrison’s Petrol Station, it will probably pick up there around 1556.This still doesn’t help solve the difficulties of travelling from Matlock to Alfreton in the afternoon on school days.
