One thing about driverless automatic cars that intrigues me.
In the future, when they are common and I still drive 'manually'; suppose I arrive at a T junction or roundabout where I should give way. If an automated car is approaching, what would happen if I didn't give way, but just pulled out in front if it? Presumably, it would be programmed to brake to avoid an accident so I would save time. At the moment, if I tried this with another (human) driver the result could well be either a collision (because of slower reaction than an automated car) or swearing, gesturing, aggressive road rage (none of which, presumably, the cars computer will do).
