No it won't. All new starters at TFW and those who joined during the deal etc will all be moved onto the new 34k salary.

You won't get a new contract. But once you join your online details will show the new figure
Ok appreciate you taking your time to respond mate

Cheers mate, I believe there’s a few waiting on Chester that have passed DMIs months ago. Fingers crossed for you all that a course comes available soon. Might be soon if they’re sorting the courses out for next year

Hi all, I am completely new to all this, however I was wondering if anyone has any idea when TFW will be advertising trainee train drivers? I know they’ve just closed one - which sadly I missed! :( you have to be so so quick. Thanks in advance

It's crazy how quick the adverts go! There are a couple of people on here that know things like this so hopefully they can give some guidance!

& whenever you are successful the info & advice here is fantastic. The process is long but you have already found the best place to help you! Took me 10 months from applying to starting (end of October this year)

I’m hoping someone can help out here? I plan to reapply for a trainee driver role after previously being unsuccessful at the DMI stage on a previous campaign.

All my tests are still valid but the paper ones will expire next year and the computer ones the year after.

My question is, if you reapply in these circumstances do both tests have to be valid for the entire process or just at the point you apply? This is because all being well at the paper sift you can progress straight to the DMI.

Thanks

Probably have to be valid for the entire process, once you start on a course then it won't matter so much unless you leave the process at any point and have to restart.

If it transpires that one or both have expired by the time they get round to seeing who has what results after the sift, you'll have to retake them.

Mine was last week.

Went in confident knowing exactly what to do as I'd passed them all before.

Email on Tuesday saying I'd passed MMI as well so just waiting for DMI date now.
Have you had a date yet?

Passed my assessments aswell, just waiting for a DMI Date

Hi all,

To those that applied for the most recent Trainee Driver roles (Cardiff).. Is anyone still waiting to hear back? I’ve heard of people having both successful and rejection emails already, but I’m still yet to have a reply. Fully appreciate that some have waited months for a yes/no as I’ve read through nearly all of this thread in the last few weeks. I’ve accepted that it could take a long time but I’m annoying myself refreshing emails pretty much hourly . Trying to work out, if possible, how they process applications and how many have had replies.

Evening all, got my 2nd attempt coming up after failing on Atavt (traffic images) last time around. Still not 100% sure how far off I was due to the non feedback policy. Can anyone offer advice / tips to pass this test please?

I can only say what worked for me which was not to over think it or second guess and just click what I definitely saw, even if I knew I'd missed something. Good luck!
