All a matter of personal preference or what needed for imao!

I'll agree with that! I find my Canon DSLR great, but it's not the best to carry around all of the time, especially when I'm just in Carlisle for a few hours before going to uni.
My mother has had a few Kodak camera's now, and loves them, never had a problem with them, and they're great for what she needs them for (not the same use as what we use them for!!!).

Back to forum topic, fleet changes...

Anyone know if/which/when ALX 300 MANs will be coming to lillyhall?

If we did get any, I'd have thought they'd probably come from Morecambe, but who knows! They'd certainly be useful things to have!

Workington... Yay.
52628 doing the honours on short 300 again! Also noticed a Scania on the annex at around 10.... not sure what (if anything) replaced it. The windows were steamed up inside, it had been on something...

I hope someone can answer these questions?

1 Has Stagecoach ever used Minibuses on the Langdale service?

2 Would they consider using them during seasons when a Single Decker would be nearly empty?

I seems that SC Western and SC Manchester are the next areas to get Tridents from London. Assume these will replace Olys...

20994 came in on 300 from Carlisle at 12:27.
34218 making a rare appearance on 51.
A Solo was sat in bus station not in service when I drove past.

This arrived in the post :D :

Obviously, the picture doesn't show the full thing, as it is rather long! Date stamped January 99.

Yes, the Solo Slimlines were running it for a period over Winter until the Darts went into crisis...

I was on 52628 on the short 300 today and It was quite the ride! I love the Jonckheere Engine. Other Intresting allocations.
20473 on 30/31.
47061 on the 1. Normally an 08reg solo, The bus that's on the 1 normally goes and does the 22:15 X5 to Keswick. Which should be Tacho'd (?)

Does anyone know whats gonna be at the Open day this year what buses? Any Preserved? Like Ex-Cumberland PHH 431W.

I read the fleet card just then 20463 has been sold to Fleet Link but the tyres hasn't, Fleet Link are gonna supply there own tyres.

Doesn't need a tacho between Workington and Keswick. They can use anything on the 2215, but it is often an 08 reg. The 08 reg's are a bit better on speed, obviously.

16355 came into Workington just before 20:15 with Whitehaven 300 on the Bright Tech. 1900 from Carlisle.

1900 from Carlisle is 301. Maybe the bus that get's back to Carlisle at 22:40 on 301 might be Carlisle Operated now?

...Or 16355 might be a "Behind our backs transfer"? To Lillyhall.

I think a Scania broke in Carlisle area, so Carlisle have loaned 16355 to Lillyhall to get them back home  The Scania could be sat in Carlisle depot waiting to be fixed up quickly to get it back to Lillyhall.

Most likely! Wonder what it is this time? Smashed door (again), fuel leak (again)

Either them, or another incident of an "Engine malfunction, emissions too high, alternator disabled" or whatever the message was that was up on the dashboard

Not bad vehicles now really, just a tough life on X4/X5, mechanically pretty much same drivetrain as 20473, volvo engine, and I'm sure 4 speed ZF (awaiting correction... )

Oddly enough, me and cainebj were discussing this today, (while he was buying his pansies... I digress...)
Depots usually decide what to send couple of weeks in advance.

I'm hoping WTHT send the lynx this year! Hellfire!

Gotta make the garden look nice  nice new wooden wishing well planter, needed some blue-ish plants to go in it to look like water

The Lynx would be good, with any luck it is finally painted now! The picture I saw a while ago of it mid-paint job looked awesome!

20463 left morecambe tonight heading to stafford bus centre possably for re sale. 24114 I think arrived at morecambe today from Carlisle not sure why but when had a look around it had engine management light on. One of the fleetwood darts arrived today too dunno what for couldn't see a problem with that. 14195 all ready gone only things on back fence now are 2 Marshall darts 14193 with alot missing. And B10Ms and barrow transport group 104 rather poorly waiting for attention from the group members for MOT

I dunno what I was thinking there TBH, that means it'll be either 20994 or 16447 on 300 today probably.

24114 is based at Stockton. Although they are just as useless as ours!

Not exactly, if Carlisle have fixed the Enviro they will put 16355 back on and will change over at Carlisle.

20994 seen on I believe 300 but if so running late at 1140 heading towards the west along Carlisle's Lowther Street

Reay's have a new bus on test on the 63 today. Didn't have time to notice what it was but bigger than the Primo's currently

Signalling issues between Workington and Whitehaven lead to bus-titution between Carlisle and Workington. Few coaches on earlier but 20945 was/is currently parked at the rail station with "rail replacement" on display
