Saw this whilst browsing dailymash.co.uk the other day. Looking past the fact that the cyclist underwear/shorts looks like it's from a baboon's butt... the combination of items is bizarre (never been into bikes, tardigrades or men's watches).

I have no problems with my sight other than needing glasses but am getting lots of ads for RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind) products designed to help the visually impaired.

I just got one from manta 5, a company I've never heard of, advertising a hydrofoil bike. Now that I like the sound of!

I'd say that was a well-targeted and then?

Right now, below, I'm seeing one for 'T Shirt Fails Show Everything" with a picture of a well-endowed young woman. It seems more appropriate for a "lads" or soft porn site

The ad in my case, yes it was appropriate. I was about to get a pizza out of the oven, otherwise I'd have actually clicked on the link!

Back to inappropriate ads now though, with allwyn which it says is a European lottery operator. Certainly not for me!

Shh... it's not the weekend yet.

Edit: Now they're in other languages!

Edit: Even the Chinese are into it!

I have got something similar 'Temu' but besides the women's clothing there are images that include a chainsaw and an image labelled 'Short girls' (I don't know whether the last two are related). I can't work out whether the latter means clothing for short girls, whether it is a dating app targeting not so tall men such as myself, or what. I don't want to click on anything because I searched for 'McAfee' following a post on another thread just to find the price and I am getting adds all the time for them. I had McAfee once (free with laptop), awful, and I am fed up being reminded!

A new advert I have seen is from a company called XM about trading Gold with low spreads.

Temu top and bottom of the page

Top is similar- same first four - but includes a watch. At least I know that 'Short Girls' is probably clothing now. Just seems like miscellaneous cheap stuff off a boat at Felixstowe.

This came up just now on this very page, I doubt id meet the requirements for height/age and even if I did, I wouldn't want to. I don't remember searching anything even vaguely related to this

We believe you. Whether it will wash with the GRU, Guoanbu and PAVA I am not so certain!

I have no idea what the second and sixth images are advertising, and I'm not sure I want to find out!

I keep getting similar ads to that one, that Temu thing certainly spams the internet with its stuff! Same on the App Store, I'll give them credit where it's due for being determined to get the most customers they can, however I've seen their ads so often that you'd have to pay me serious money to even consider shopping with them!

I was actually expecting an ad from them now, but instead I've got Fortnite which is much more tolerable an ad!

I'm getting the bike chain cleaner too. Also a tool which might be a caliper which might be of interest if I didn't already have one. Also the same white dress which @najaB saw and some further female garments which look as though they might be designed for use during pregnancy.

I don't own a bike and am a single male with zero expectation of meeting a woman who would look good in that dress or be young enough bear my child.

I am also getting these Temu adverts. Let's see what they think I would like to buy...

1) Bike chain cleaner or not, there's nothing I could conceivably use it for
2) I don't have three legs...
3) I'm not making a school uniform protest, so no
4) Not quite my colour
5) Not my demographic, and I don't know anyone for whom it would be useful (thankfully)
6) Anyone have any idea what this is?
7) Even I'm not small enough to fit in them

Conclusion: I am impossible to buy for.

Interestingly, this popped up in my YouTube feed today:

I haven't watched the video either, but I suspect it'll just confirm that Temu only sell junk!
Indeed it does. The interesting part is *why* they sell tat at such low prices. Long story short we, are collateral damage in a war between them and the other Chinese B2C vendors like Alibaba.

I've had "Adults Only Retreat In Crete" and "Retirement Village in Godalming".

I fit neither demographic. And even if I did, I wouldn't be in Crete and I wouldn't want to retire to Godalming.

I haven’t watched the video yet but it screams “throwaway tat”.
I have 'watched' much of it - it covers more than just tat. Since doing so I have not had a single advert on here or elsewhere for the 'Hot beverage - cow' organisation, so maybe time well spent. (Memo to my former boss - males can multi-task, at least when watching videos).

I currently have one for 'Kalesafe' which looks like a similar organisation (awful TrustPilot reviews - 72% 1*) but at least it is male clothing so not totally inappropriate, probably dispatched from the People's Republic.

I initially misread the first one as "Adults Only Retreat in Crewe", which I don't think anyone in their right mind would consider.

Not on this site, but I've had weird "Banana Cleaning Machine" adverts, which are probably designed for a different reason than that described.
