Trivia: longest services to call at no two consecutive stations

What is the longest service to call at no two consecutive stations along its route? In other words, it must pass through a station non-stop between each of its calls. Length can be either by distance, or number of stops (the latter is perhaps more interesting).

For example, the fast Kings Cross to Edinburgh services count, they pass through a station between each stop. The ones that continue beyond Edinburgh don’t, as they call at Edinburgh and Haymarket. What about for each region around the country?

Were it not for Totnes and Newton Abbot then I suspect Plymouth - Edinburgh would be a good call. Or do they really ruin it by stopping at Teignmouth as well?

Was also thinking of Lumo's typical service provision, (calling pattern), i.e. London King's Cross, Stevenage (sometimes), Newcastle, Morpeth and Edinburgh.

So what's that? Nearly 400 miles?

Doubt there's anything further on the entire GB network.

WCML side, something like an Euston to Liverpool (especially since they no longer call at Stafford). Or one of the Euston - Manchester services which go via Stoke.

Midland Main Line - St Pancras to Sheffield on a fast service (Leicester, Derby, chesterfield only).

Although neither are nearly as long as the ECML examples (either Lumo or the fast King's Cross - Edinburgh services)

Cheating, but do Brussels Eurostars still pass through the platforms at Vorst Zuid?

Dronfield is between Sheffield and Chesterfield, and Outwood is between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate.

Oh yes, how silly of me considering I’ve been to both stations several times.

There‘s also Exeter St David’s, Tiverton Parkway, Taunton. But something XC starting from Bristol is ok on the southern end, annoyingly leaving just Darlington, Durham.

I thought the Heart of Wales line could work if you counted request stops as not stopping but Gowerton, Llanelli, Pantyffynnon, Ammanford and Llandybie are examples of consecutive non-request stops even if you did count request stops.

Cheating, but do Brussels Eurostars still pass through the platforms at Vorst Zuid?

They pass on unplatformed fast lines at both Ruisbroek and Vorst Zuid, according to http://www.sporenplan.nl/ so I guess it counts (as all non-stop trains on HS lines use unplatformed lines when bypassing stations). The Amsterdam services would also therefore feature, as they pass through Brussels Central and North between Brussels and Rotterdam and through Schiphol between Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
