Was it an Alvis? What was the first mass produced petrol injection car in the UK (at least according to the sales literature of the company concerned)?
Right manufacturer, but the Stag was released in 1970, and a commercial disaster for Triumph Motors, now part of British Leyland. Nice car, but awful engine, with the Rover V8 already established. One feature is that instead of injection, carburettors were used to meet US emission standards.Triumph Stag?
Oh so close. I'll give it to you because it was the TR5, then Triumph had the idea of inserting the engine into its 2L car range.Triumph 2.5 PI?
