We next board the 2036 Blackburn Bus Company service 22 to Shadsworth (the bus stop opposite Rothesay Road on Fecitt Brow) that arrves there at 2116 on Monday evening.
I was relieved to be out of Scotland....
We exit the station and take the three minute walk to Westgate, where we board the 0746 Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire service 685 to Blucher (Old Hexham Road/Stephenson Terrace), arriving there at 0906 on Tuesday morning.
Unfortunately, having been at Haltwhistle, it was decided to take us back into the Newcastle region rather than a more interesting rural region.Think I may have got us out of Newcastle already ? Post # 35135

In my defence, I wasn't aware that said settlement was back in that region, otherwise I would have been a bit more imaginative (of which I am one of the few to be, under regular circumstances)....Unfortunately, having been at Haltwhistle, it was decided to take us back into the Newcastle region rather than a more interesting rural region.
Don't ask me, I'm WelshHow does one say Blucher? Bluker? Bloocher? Blucker?
We next board the 1232 Go North East Cobalt & Coast service 309 to Whitley Bay (The Links/Eastbourne Gardens), arriving there at 1256 on Tuesday afternoon. We now decide to head towards the seaside and take the rather circuitous 11:17 Gateshead Central Taxis 335 service, but alight early at Cobalt Atmel Way at 12:09 on Tuesday
Again we have come across a problem, as bustimes.org states that Ashley Down Road is not in Bishopston, but in Horfield. We next board the 1025 First West of England service 74 to Bishopston (Ashley Down Road), arriving there at 1053 on Wednesday morning.
Well, either way, the times I'm sure will match so it won't matter.Again we have come across a problem, as bustimes.org states that Ashley Down Road is not in Bishopston, but in Horfield.
In that case it offers an opportunity to visit one of my favourite transport hubs so we next board the 1111 First West of England service 75 to Cribbs Causeway (Bus Station) that arrives there at 1142 on Wednesday morning.Well, either way, the times I'm sure will match so it won't matter.
