re the Dog and Partridge, a little bit of detective work shows that there was a pub with this name, present on Google street view in 2008, but it had been replaced by housing by 2012!!!
An instance of a bus company using an old, local, name for a stop...

We leave Twickenham at 2144 on Abellio London for TfL service 267, taking it all the way to Hammersmith (Bus Station, stop E), arriving at 2221 on Friday.

I've not had an issues with that site, but I do know a lot of operators use different names for stops to that on NaPTAN / bustimes, etc. Hey ho, one of the joys of no joined up national approach!!!

Anyway, mindful that Stratford has a 7 minute minimum connection time, we wayfind our way to platform 10 where we board Greater Anglia's 2352 service towards Southend Victoria. We alight at Wickford at 0021 on Saturday morning.
