I had an email at 1.10am saying I've been shortlisted and they will be in touch with next stage soon. I'm absolutely cacking my pants!

Do we actually know what Part 1 is exactly
good luck to everyone!Yep me too on the 23rd! The hotel is just around the corner from Derby Station. Better get my bum into gear with the practice material.I have been sent an email telling me that my Stage 1 Assessment is on the 23rd Feb at a hotel in Derby.
Not driving at Nottingham or derby though, be Lincoln, Boston or Norwich.I know someone who went from a gate line position for EMR straight to Mainline driving.
I worked nottingham and the shifts weren’t that bad no where near as many night shifts as derby. But even though it’s only a stepping stone for a year or 2 you’ve done right thing if you couldn’t do the shifts, soooo easy to mess up especially when tiredI have now withdrawn my application for this position due to there be lots of Night Shifts which is something I just can't get my body to work around. Would struggle to sleep during day. I do have an application in for a Tram job so will stick with that.

Oh that's a shame, but if u know it won't work for u then uve done the right thing.I have now withdrawn my application for this position due to there be lots of Night Shifts which is something I just can't get my body to work around. Having kids at home so would of been tough to sleep during the day and don't want to tell wife to keep taking kids out for day as that just not fair. The person I know does drive out of Lincoln. They travel 45mins in a car to get there for work. Not driving at Nottingham or derby though, be Lincoln, Boston or Norwich.

Traineetraindriverinfo.comI'm down to attend stage 1 on the 3/3, any advice people have in general?
From the description I think its Group Bourdon, TEA-Occ and the 2 TRP tests. I have been practicing some GB sheets and got some material for the TRP tests, I haven't found any good practice materials for the TEA-Occ. Does anyone know of any?
Woohoo! Good luck practice practice practice is the advice ive been given from all the drivers I know.I'm down to attend stage 1 on the 3/3, any advice people have in general?

sorry for the late reply! I have been doing some practicing but also trying not to psyc myself out by dwelling on it too much. I sort of made up TRP material where I read a section of a manual (any manual, don't think it matters) then my partner asks me questions on the section. Not loads of questions, I'm not sure how many there are on the test but I've been doing 5-10. Probably less than the test but it's not easy to come up with the questions!Woohoo! I found an online GB test, on metodorf.com. I know its not the same as paper version but it's practice to get u used to it none the less.
I havent found any practice bits for the TEA-Occ, apart from one high and low tones recording thing that I think I got off of a forum on here somewhere.
Where have u managed to get thr TRP material?
Fingers crossed good luck.Mine were on the 23/2 and still nothing either. Hopefully not much longer now. Good luck
Still nothing for me anyone in the know heard anything?
