HD04 is now staying in Crewe and will form 5V33 on Monday.
Pending sign off of repairs HD06 will enter service on 1W93 tomorrow so 1V33 will now be a unit tomorrow.

No sd0733 is correct as the set operates 5V33 from Crewe to Manchester before taking up in service on 1V33.

Nope all unit subs now due to lack of available trained crews.

Should be back to a 3 set service on Monday with HD04 starting at Crewe, HD05 from Holyhead and HD06 from Cardiff.

Saturday services are now hoped to start next week with the diagrams starting 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff and 05:30 Swansea to Manchester.

I thought HD04 had issues in Crewe, HD01 Might be out for a while as carriages damage to alternator coupled to 67025.

In Landore are 82220 with HD08, there should be spare DVT 82204 somewhere (probably Landore) and 82209 (parts donor).

Both sets HD02 (82229) and HD03 (82216) are currently at Landore for SDO.

That's the eventual plan. I believe there's the plan to temporarily keep that diagram as a Crewe start and finish so that sets newly into service can be kept an eye on by getting back to Crewe each night.

Yes it was. The Integrity (door interlock) system is proving a big problem on the ex-GC sets so far, presumably linked to lack of use over the past few years. HD04 is sidelined at Crewe with it and 06 had the issues today which are planned to be rectified and should be out tomorrow and HD05 has had issues too In its brief stint in service before it went for SDO

Have the Mark 4 sets not been tested enough times then?

Just the one Holyhead diagram with a unit today, the one that started in Cardiff this morning. The other diagram and the Manchester diagram have MKIVs.

Two southbound Mk4s this morning, now heading back to Manchester/Holyhead (routes swapped at Cardiff).
They continue to impact each other with increasing lateness, slowly dropping time through the Marches.
Neither is going to make the short turnround at the far end, so will be late for the rest of the day.

All looks a bit of a disaster with plenty of long distance services today on The Marches being operated by 2 car 150’s and 153’s.
