Grantham in Lincolnshire also has a pub called the 'Nobody Inn'.
Sorry....I'm not quite sure of the connection between Ballygawley and the River Moy.The River Moy -- on which lies Ballina, Co. Mayo -- is also reckoned one of Ireland's best angling venues.

OK. I'm with you now....thanks for the explanation! Slightly tenuous perhaps, but there's probably not a lot more to say about Ballygawley unless you want to delve deeply into the dark amd tragic history of the Northern Ireland 'troubles'. Let's continue from there.Per Wiki, the Ballygawley River at Ballygawley -- tributary, I would guess of the Blackwater -- is reckoned to furnish some of the finest freshwater fishing in Ireland. Looking for other great fishing places in that island, I came upon the Moy in Co. Mayo -- apparently, great for salmon. In quest of a relevant settlement, I hit upon Ballina. Don't know what other participants might think to these mental processes: should the general feeling be that this connection / association is "dodgy", I'll scrap the post concerned, and we can do whatever seems best.

Not being well at the present time (yet again!!!) but as a brief aside, in my railway archives, I still have the hardback book on the Clogher Valley Railway by E dward M. Patterson that my late wife bought for me in 1976 on our first wedding anniversary.Fine -- agreed, not one of my better efforts; and I should have explained more fully in my post # 28,627. (There is in fact a certain amount to say about Ballygawley on railway themes: the 3ft. gauge Clogher Valley Railway; and a previous plan for a "short line" to Ballygawley from Dungannon, which came to naught -- but of course, the whole point of this game is...)

Mountain Ash is the location of the annual Nos Galan five kilometre road race held on New Year's Eve. It celebrates the life and achievements of the Welsh runner Guto Nyth Bran and starts with a church service at St Gwynno's Church, Llangwynno, where he is buried.
That's because it's actually Llanwonno ... my apologies! My turn to tell of puzzlement and seek enlightenment: I'd never heard of Llangwynno -- and seemingly, nor have the Internet, nor atlas gazetteers. Clarification respectfully requested...
