Couple of hours, depends on how much assistance the candidates require and how long it takes you to fill out the questions for the MMI
I had an email with 2 dates on for Chester and I said I was available for the 31st at 9:30am but I wish I had said the 1st November now as I have an appointment at 2:45pm on the 31st. I should still be OK to be back by the though as I know it's only 30 minutes on train for me back home. Still awaiting confirmation that I've got the slot, I responded in less than 45 minutes to email they sent me.
Yeah I went from Crewe to Chester for my paper tests, 9.30 start but was done by 12. The computer tests take more like 4/4.5 hours and are down in Cardiff
So glad I'm a current Tfw employee because I wouldn't be wanting to go all way to Cardiff and having to pay to get there. That would be a gutting experience to go all that way at your own expense and fail.
Yeah, I showed my WMT pass and the guards let me travel but it is bad that free travel isn't included, not exactly close to the depots they advertised for is it! I'm not sure what WMT do when they use OPC down in Watford as I was internal but really should be a free pass for the day situation
Confirmed dates on the 28th September for 6th October so just over a week.
I'd expect a response on Monday or Tuesday, hopefully after they've marked my MMI
I will get at most a week if they confirm on Monday because I'm not going to get an email over the weekend. Have you got the practice material
Double check your spam if it's Gmail, that happened to at least 2 people on here where one email went into inbox and the other spam
I got my initial email on the 9th but only got my invite to paper tests today. So you will probably get one next week.

Did you get a confirmation yet after emailing back?
No I emailed them about 43 minutes after I got the email but got nothing back. They emailed about 3pm so hopefully I will hear something Monday. Although the email does say if you don't here then your slot isn't confirmed.

I emailed 30 seconds after receiving the email I just happened to be checking them I haven’t had confirmation back most probably hear Monday now
Well I just hope I was quick enough to get a slot because I know there is people on here ended up having to apply again because they couldn't get a slot in time.
Has anyone on here completed the paper assessments and can shed any light on the MMI questions?
This is my first time applying and Ive been given dates for assessment, Im familiar with the tests now but not 100% with the MMI, I know its sat after computer tests but Im aware theres questions asked on the paper assessment part. Any idea what sort of questions are asked for anyone thats already done it?

Supposedly there is a bank of different questions. However I've only seen and heard of the same 6 each time. They are on here should you wish to look them up. I won't share them as some people get quite funny with it. But a quick search and you'll find the 6
They are scenario based competency questions that you will have to talk through in great detail. Think similar job, emergency situation, time you've been relied upon etc. Things which are highly relevant to the training and skills you need as a driver

I'm in training now and everyone has said it's the same 6 everytime. Maybe a slight change but same sort of question.

It's out of order that it's first come first serve. They should do the sift then ensure there's enough testing slots for all who have been shortlisted.Egg shells
Indeed, however they are limited to how many slots at a time (just 4 for 2nd lot of testing).
I think I was given 4 dates for paper testing, 2x16 slots per day so that's a decent amount of they manage to get all slots filled
4 isn’t that small especially if on any day, all 4 pass the computer tests, and have to take the MMI.

I responded straight away and wanted to attend on the 27th (Thursday). I've sent a couple of more emails to try to get a response but nothing coming back!!
I've been checking my spam folder too.
I didn't see my email until about 40 minutes after they sent so I'm not confident I will even get a slot going off what I've been reading on here.
