I only managed 37430 in BR days, in 1989 from Dovey Junction to Aberystwyth at the age of 7. My older brother and I made sure to note the number as we exited at Aber after a day of 150s that were novel that morning but dull as ditchwater by the end of the day tripping up and down the Coast!I did used to like the Welsh 37/4s. I think I only ever managed a run behind one of them but I had quite a few of the Scottish ones in the end.
Got a handful of the rest under FNW, ATN, and Serco/Abellio Northern.
Was always surprised that 37431 Bullidae was chosen for one of Bachmann's models, being the shortest-lived of the sub-class.
Edit: on the Scottie dog logo thing, it just doesn't quite work for me- not just because I'm not modelling Scotland- it's more that it seems a bit of a tourist cliché, like if instead of a white rose, the original WYPTE logo on the side of DMUs had been a whippet!
