I had 047 on a passenger train on 22/09/90 - the new RfD ones (as they were then) were pretty regular on passenger trains at the time, I also had 041/044/046 around that period. Only the new kids on the block will think they never worked passenger trains! ;)

I recall 90049 working an InterCity off International one evening as well!;)

Couple of minutes after arrival I suspect. The ECS from Preston wasn't too long after arrival.

Is our favourite VWC set likely to be out tomorrow. In the midlands doing the Stratford upon Avon lines and hopefully have a ride on a WSMR set and the 90.

Not out today, but I think it might do the full diagram next Friday including the 1843

On a train somewhere in Europe
It was out today on the 1145 Euston - Brum and 1350 return, don't think that it was doing anything else after that.

Where did they find this spare 390 from?
I think that it was replaced by a voyager, they can usually come up with something to cover by doing set swaps.

Did it not do the 1558 off Euston and 1750 return then?

Didn't hang around long enough to see if it did; went into platform 1 on arrival back at Euston and there was no apparent rush to get it serviced and turned round for a departure 1/2 an hour later.

Edit: out again today on the 0703 off Euston etc.
