Crikey. Wonder if it was just lucky, or if the preventative work Network Rail sneaked in last time has helped protect it.

Looks like the work helped massively as rainfall totals were huge over the weekend as always.Crikey. Wonder if it was just lucky, or if the preventative work Network Rail sneaked in last time has helped protect it.
Seems to be closed againThe Welsh Marches line between Hereford and Shrewsbury has now reopened.
For my Porthmadog to Machynlleth leg, RTT was showing a train, but it was really the Rail Replacement Bus.RTT is still showing trains as running through oddly if this is the case.
Edit: I hope it's not closed i've got a train to catch in 2 hours.
2nd Edit: According to TfW Journey Check, some lines are blocked due to a landslip between Shrewsbury and Hereford, disruption expected until 14.15.
Cravens Arms I think I saw. NR did post pictures.Where is the location of the land slip on the marches line?
I can confirm it was Craven ArmsCravens Arms I think I saw. NR did post pictures.

I actually had a much more interesting trip to Birmingham, for trains, but less so for scenery...
Looks like that was indeed a train (which formed a service back to Pwllheli later).
The Barmouth to Fairbourne times alone would be nowhere near achievable by road.
And single line working now, with Bridgend-Cardiff via Pencoed reopen after a tree was removedI can confirm it was Craven Arms

The line is closed for engineering work as scheduled. Is there any reason why the Severn Beach Line is still RRBs? Any damage or are they just being over-cautious?
