Don't forget the forum search function as there should be quite a bit on EMR already
Well done.Yes, I got an email on Friday evening confirming I had passed the assessment day! Only took 2 days to come back to me, very fast.
Have you heard on yours?
Sorry to hear - hope you have more luck next time.Well done.
Unfortunately I was not successful. I will be trying again though. Just have to wait 6 months.
Hello!Hi All,
Recently got through to stage 2 of the EMR application stage 'assessment day'. Wondered if anybody could shed some further light on this for me? Provide some info on what I can expect on the day, thanks!

Thank you for this!Morning, I am not sure how much info is right to pass on but what I can safely say is if you revise 'interview style questions' & be very honest & pragmatic with your approach, you will do just fine. Remember safety is number one for importance!! Good luck!

What you’ve described is stage 2 psychometric tests, which is stage 4 of the application process.I have also passes OPC Stage 1 Driver Testing and have been invited to the EMR assessment day with group and individual exercises. Is this the Day 2 assessment including the 6 tests in the original supplied notes (listed below) or something else?
WAFV Vigilance Test
ATAVT Perception Test
2Hand Coordination
Situational Judgement Exercise
Multi Modal Interview (MMI)
Written Communication Test
Thankyou very much for this. Do you recommend any preparation other than knowing about EMR and the role? What you’ve described is stage 2 psychometric tests, which is stage 4 of the application process.
The assessment day is run by EMR and not OPC (psychometric tests).
The day comprises of (as you’ve mentioned) group and individual exercises. It’s a day to show off your personality! Good luck, it’s quite a fun day.

Hey,Hi all,
Could anyone who was successful and are currently working in Derby as a depot driver please DM me what their shifts are typically like?
I am aware they’re predominantly nights.
I am through to the final stage, so trying to get an idea of what I (hopefully) might work!
Many thanks
After my assessment day I received my email around 7 days later. I think I remember Being told it could be around 10 days.Does anyone know how long you usually wait for the result of The EMR Assessment Day (stage 2)?
Stage 3 is just an interview with a driver manager & HR rep. Depends how you find interviews, they were very friendly & helpful, remember they want you to do well, these people don't want you to fail. I found remembering that helped me relax. Biggest tip I can give is do your research on NTS's!Hey,
I passed my assessment day and I am waiting for a date for stage 3, can I ask what the interview was like ?
Thanks
