After us being in the Llandudno area (Deganwy) earlier this morning I opted for a change rather than risk criticism for retracing our steps.

We walk the 5 mins (0.2 miles) to Adwy Ddu and there await the 1500 Lloyds Coaches service 39, which we take to Dyffryn Ardudwy (before Swyddfa'r Post Office) at 1532 on Wednesday.

With the last bus of the day but a distant memory, there is only one train in the next 2 hours, so we take that. It has only two stops, the final one being Machynlleth where we have just left. Therefore we take the 2144 Transport for Wales service to Dovey Junction where we arrive at 2155 on Wednesday.

Presumably we won't want to go back to Machynlleth again so soon, and there is nothing now along the Pwllheli line this late, so we will wait for the 2312 Transport for Wales service to Bow Street arriving at 2328 on Wednesday.

We could take the 2347 to Borth, Dovey Junction or Machynlleth.
But it's probably better to get some sleep, and then in the morning we can take the 0534 Transport for Wales service to Welshpool where we arrive at 0649 on Thursday.

Real time trains and the National "proper" timetable show it as a normal request stop.
The last bus for the day left the nearest bus stop around 2 hours ago, so we stay on the railway station and there we await 1K72, the 1842 Transport for Wales service to Crewe, which we take as far as Flint, arriving at 2004 on Thursday.

It takes us 2 minutes to cross the road to the St Marks Church stop, from where we take the 0816 journey on Let's Go service 1 (being careful not to be swayed by the competition from National Express West Midlands service 1 from the same stop!). We alight at Tettenhall Wood (Penk Rise) at 0831 on Friday.

Continuing from this, we then walk down the road to Forton, Sharwardine Jnc and board the 1351 Arriva Midlands X4 service alighting at Oswestry Bus Station at 1430 on Friday afternoon.
