How about the "DC lines between Watford Junction and Euston"? Although Primrose Hill is long gone it was actually on the Watford Junction to Broad Street DC line.

The "AC lines" don't count as there have been at least a couple of closures (Willesden Junction, Hatch End).

Romford - Upminster
Upminster - Grays (although few trains regularly run just that section).
On the C2C line I can only think of Tilbury Riverside that has been closed and not replaced by underground stations.
Leigh was moved slightly towards London.
Basildon. West Ham & Chafford Hundred are all new.

Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog has nothing closed until one reaches Ffestiniog itself.
Glan Conway closed, then reopened as Glan Conwy.

Blaenau was a resiting so I'd (personally) not count that as a closure.

And, of course, it has an extra station now at Llanrwst.

Ironic for something of a basket case line.

It appears that the northernmost permanent and unquestionably public station on the current route* to have been closed was Whistlefield, to the north of which were:

Glen Douglas: 'precise details of naming and use are debated', but it appear to have been public for at least part of its history.
Inveruglas: temporary and private during hydro-electric construction works in 1945-8.
Glen Falloch Halt: appears to have been similar to Inveruglas.
Gorton: private for railway staff.
Fersit: temporary and private during hydro-electric construction works in 1931-5.

*I.e. not incuding the original Fort William station, or Banavie Pier.

Does anyone know of any more?

(Source: mostly Wikipedia, but I haven't investigated it exhaustively; some things I knew anyway from various sources).

There was also a private Estate halt at Lech-a-Vuie between Glenfinnan and Lochailort

Depending on how you count a “line”, no stations have ever closed on the Cathcart Circle. The Neilston branch line has since been truncated beyond Neilston, but the core circle has not changed

Although the first station out of Glasgow, Eglinton St (albeit not on the Circle proper) did close !

On a related note, I've wondered about the WCML either side of Birmingham New Street. Between Brum and Cov, no stations have closed - in fact with the opening of International - the number of stations has increased. But on the Wolverhampton side, lots of stations have closed over the years - Monument Lane, Winson Green, Soho, Albion, Monmore Green, etc. (Of course Galton Bridge is a new station). Other than just a simple coincidence, I'm not sure why this is!
This is a real technicality, but Derby Junction Station (between the current Birmingham International and Hampton-in-Arden) could be considered a closed station. In reality, it was replaced by the current Hampton-in-Arden station, but for a few years in the 1890's both it, then called Hampton, and the current Hampton-in-Arden were used by the Stonebridge Railway branch-line trains. The Midland Railway stopped their daily service at Derby Junction and then proceeded down the WCML to Hampton-in-Arden where they terminated. The last passenger service on the Stonebridge Railway ceased in 1917 but the Hampton station hadn't been used for passenger services for some considerable time before that.

You can still see the station building about a third of a mile north of the current Hampton-in-Arden just by the sawmill.

I don't believe that there are any closed stations on the line between Llandudno Junction and Conwy.

But this is not a complete line I don't think. The line is the North Wales Coast Line - and there are a number of closed stations on that line, Mochdre & Pabo, Old Colwyn, Llysfaen, Llandulas, Foryd, Talacre, Mostyn, Holywell Junction, etc

Oh dear. My mistake, thank you.

Does anyone else think that there's a case for reopening some of these stations? Old Colwyn, Foryd, Holywell Jn, and Connah's Quay.

I cannot find any closed stations on the current route of the Severn Beach line, although the current route was formed through truncation and closure of old stations

Romford is an edge case. The LTSR station is closed but the platform is in situ linked to the GER station by a footbridge.

On the Tilbury loop there is Low Street while there are several London and Blackwall station between Fenchurch Street and Limehouse

And it also used to go to Hotwells, but I was only considering the existing route.
Chittening Factory 'station' was between St Andrews Road and Severn Beach. I use inverted commas as it was really a brief stopping place used for just over a fortnight in 1917. Does it count?!

Completely off topic, but seeing Fersit mentioned I can’t resist it.

One of the (very few) residents of Fersit owns a vehicle with the aregistration plate FER51T.

Made me smile when I saw it.

West Coastway has had a few closures in various places. East Coastway less so - between Brighton and Eastbourne the only closures IIRC are the original Falmer and the resited Polegate.
I'd say Lewes counts as a closure and replacement, as the original building still stands some distance from any track! There's also a couple of resitings around Lewes as the various lines took shape.

I believe no stations have ever closed on the North Warwickshire Line from Birmingham Snow Hill - Stratford-Upon-Avon?

Although Henley-In-Arden Terminus has closed but wasn't technically part of what is now the North Warwickshire Line

Esk Valley - Middlesbrough to Whitby?

Could it even have more now than it ever did?
Yes to both, although I don't think Middlesbrough-Battersby-Whitby was the original route, was it? The line from Battersby to Picton was closed in the summer of 1954.

Huddersfield to Penistone had Berry Brow closed under Beeching, but then reopened in 1989 on a slightly different site. All other stations have stayed open throughout (barring wartime cuts).
Running through to Barnsley* both Silkstone and Dodworth closed in 1959, but reopened in 1989 (the former as Silkstone Common).
All good through to Meadowhall with Chapeltown only moving without being closed, but then there's Meadowhall itself which serves as a replacement for Brightside but alas not Attercliffe Road.

*= there was also the spur to Barnsley Courthouse station, but that's not on the current route.
Summer Lane closed in 1959 (as mentioned, now I notice - sorry).

You could have had Selby-Hull, but Hemingbrough closed in 1967. Hull-Goole and Goole-Pontefract Monkhill (or Castleford, if using the modern route) are the best I can do.

Just said 'lines' with no closed stations. Looks to be the strongest contender to take this trivia to me.

Wigan NW to Liverpool Lime St via St Helens still has all its original stations, as far as I'm aware.

Pushing the envelope and allowing a relocated & modernised city centre station, then the Wigan Wallgate to Liverpool Exchange / Moorfields line also retains all its intermediate stations, as does Ormskirk to Liverpool Exchange / Moorfields.
(The Southport to Liverpool line doesn't quite make it, since Altcar Rifle Range station closed in 1921)
The original Birkdale station known as Old Gilbert’s or Gilbert’s Crossing located roughly half way between the present Birkdale and Hillside stations closed in 1851, a mere 3 years after the line opened, so Liverpool Exchange - Southport hasn’t met the criteria for this in 170 years!

Some stations also closed in the Bootle area before being replaced with the present stations. Midge Hall has closed on the Liverpool Exchange - Ormskirk - Preston line and Upholland closed to be relocated on the other side of the tunnel on the Liverpool Exchange - Kirkby - Wigan Wallgate line.

I thought Southport - Wigan Wallgate would count, since it retains the tiny hardly used stations at Bescar Lane, New Lane and Hoscar which don’t serve anything, but of course the much larger St Lukes has closed, as well as Blowick when the line was diverted via Meols Cop.

Liverpool Lime Street - St Helens Shaw Street - Wigan North Western has of course lost Carr Mill, but will likely regain it in a few years, so for the time being this isn’t eligible either.

I would have thought quite a few South of London routes would fall into this category, Victoria - Horsham via Sutton and Epsom, have there been any closures?. Also what about Coastway, from Brighton westwards?
Victoria- Horsham station closures-
Grosvenor Road,
New Wandsworth
in addition to Epsom Town

from Brighton - Havant (West Coast Line)-
Holland Road Halt,
Dyke Junction Halt (resited) and renamed Aldrington
Kingston-on-sea
Shoreham Airport (Bungalow Town)
Yapton
Woodgate
Drayton
Havant (first station)
