That matter is being discussed. All I will say is click on her profile later this evening and you will be able to find out. We don't discuss these sorts of decisions.

As this journey is already heavily subsidised by taxpayers, you are paying £1 to go via Leeds, is that right? That sounds very reasonable and I would hope that you would not be complaining at that. A more sensible way forward may be to replace these 50p tickets with a £1 ticket that allows more flexibility on route.

If I was getting that journey for £1 I would not be complaining.

I don't like uksweet. But the last time I.checked we didn't either presume people had been rude because they were in the past, or discriminate based on the ticket that they had bought?

I'm sure neither thing has happened. Some posts have been deleted from this thread, and I'm sure it's the content of those posts which is being discussed by the admin team.

Let me address the railway routeing and ticketing issue, rather than behaviour and personality issues.

It seems the problem is that at least some railway workers claim that a 50p off-peak day single / £1 off-peak day return West Yorkshire Metro concessionary ticket Mirfield - Wakefield Stations is valid via Horbury only, not via Leeds.

If this is so, then it seems to me that a a 50p off-peak day single / £1 off-peak day return West Yorkshire Metro concessionary ticket Walsden - Knottingley is valid both via Horbury and via Leeds, and can be used as a Mirfield - Wakefield Stations ticket. It seems these tickets do not restrict break of journey.

Just to say that if a route is blocked by snow or indeed any other reason then that is not the passengers fault. In these circumstances I always accept cheaper routed tickets for the longer journey - common sense really.
