Up until the introduction of the Class 456s, I'd have said SWT.
458s were. There was a fair period between the 170s being withdrawn and 456s being introduced.that did cross my mind, but they had 170s for a while, and I’m not sure if the 458s were allowed for crew to walk between units.
Merseyrail until the new 777s come in. Southern as well. Edit: Oh wait, 171s.

Southern as well. Edit: Oh wait, 171s.
Southern has never had an all gangwayed fleet, as the 205s and 207s that the 171s replaced weren't gangwayed either. The Southern 455s are not gangwayed since their refurb.
I think Heathrow Express is the only one, greatly helped by the fact they operate only one class of train. The EMR guards dispute got me wondering, am I correct in thinking there is not a single TOC where all of the fleet have gangways between unit?

TfL Rail as well once the 315s have gone. OK so the 345s aren't gangwayed, but they are fixed length units that aren't run in multiple.I think Heathrow Express is the only one, greatly helped by the fact they operate only one class of train.
Well on that basis, so is Thameslink fully gangwayed.TfL Rail as well once the 315s have gone. OK so the 345s aren't gangwayed, but they are fixed length units that aren't run in multiple.

Heathrow Express is no longer a TOC: the service is operated by GWR.I think Heathrow Express is the only one, greatly helped by the fact they operate only one class of train.
London Northwestern will be close when the new stock is in, with just the 230s that aren't gangwayed.
(OK, I guess it's a brand - but the West Midlands Trains TOC as a whole will not be that far behind... the 172/0s, the 139s and the 230s aren't that many units.)
Are the Caledonian Sleeper Mk5s fully gangwayed?
Yes, but the locos aren'tAre the Caledonian Sleeper Mk5s fully gangwayed?
The question was gangways between units however, so presumably neither countsYes, but the locos aren't![]()
Is that a "TOC"? I'd say it is but they still operate 171s.Well on that basis, so is Thameslink fully gangwayed.
The title is 100% Gangway stock, so I think Caledonian Sleeper counts, assuming that Locos aren't counted as rolling stock but carriages/units are!The question was gangways between units however, so presumably neither counts![]()
I thought GWR provided the service on their behalf under a management contract while HE itself still exists.Heathrow Express is no longer a TOC: the service is operated by GWR.
HEx exists still, but it doesn’t run the trains. GWR do so under contract.I thought GWR provided the service on their behalf under a management contract while HE itself still exists.
And the 4 172/1s at the moment. There are strong rumours they are staying at WMR bit we will see.A bit of a shame that WMR don't have the right number of self contained diagrams to use the eight 172/0s on.
