TOCs with 100% gangway stock

The EMR guards dispute got me wondering, am I correct in thinking there is not a single TOC where all of the fleet have gangways between unit?

458s were. There was a fair period between the 170s being withdrawn and 456s being introduced.

Merseyrail's aren't really gangways, they are more emergency exit doors similar to the DLR. I have never seen them used even by staff.

Despite being offset to one side, the 777s actually have the exact same facility to exit (with built in steps unlike the 50x) and move between units.

All stock that runs in multiple on TFW is gangwayed now that the Pacers are gone. The only non-gangwayed stock in their current fleet is the Mark 4 sets and the 769s, both of which only operate individually. Edit: 175s...

Southern has never had an all gangwayed fleet, as the 205s and 207s that the 171s replaced weren't gangwayed either.

I think Heathrow Express is the only one, greatly helped by the fact they operate only one class of train.

TfL Rail as well once the 315s have gone. OK so the 345s aren't gangwayed, but they are fixed length units that aren't run in multiple.

(OK, I guess it's a brand - but the West Midlands Trains TOC as a whole will not be that far behind... the 172/0s, the 139s and the 230s aren't that many units.)

TFW in the north / English side of the franchise are going towards a full gangway rolling stock excluding the MK4s obviously.
Once the 175 / 158 / 150 / 153 units depart, it will give TFW more flexibility for strengthening units with the 197's.

The OP didn't specify whether "gangways between units" means in every case, or only in regular passenger service.

TfL Rail could count in the future if the latter.

The title is 100% Gangway stock, so I think Caledonian Sleeper counts, assuming that Locos aren't counted as rolling stock but carriages/units are!

I was actually referring to units although I didn’t specify this previously.

the question actually comes from if the stock was guard operated would 1 guard be able to access all passengers areas, or if a situation arises and a driver was required to perform a wrong direction move, could they get to other cab without getting into the ballast.

HEx exists still, but it doesn’t run the trains. GWR do so under contract.

And the 4 172/1s at the moment. There are strong rumours they are staying at WMR bit we will see.

WMR also have 2 class 139s that are non gangways also.
