Wasn't there something to do with them coming apart in service or something which is the reason behind that?Great Northern used to lock the gangways out of use between the 387s, I think they still do

379's on Greater Anglia had a few incidents of that, and as a result the gangways don't see use any more on those either in my limited experience.Wasn't there something to do with them coming apart in service or something which is the reason behind that?
I think that's what I've been thinking of, one of those designs anyway379's on Greater Anglia had a few incidents of that, and as a result the gangways don't see use any more on those either in my limited experience.
Interesting, does that mean the guard transfers between units at stations then?Tfw don't open the gangways on 150s on the valleys. Guessing its because of the amount of attaching and detaching they do
I Should have clarified that actually. They don't tend to open the door between cab and saloon to allow passengers to pass through Gangway connector may actually be opened though.Interesting, does that mean the guard transfers between units at stations then?
