but the reason they’re off the road is because they’re not functional...Hopefully they dont get scrapped, it would be a waste of functional buses

They are functional, just not very good.but the reason they’re off the road is because they’re not functional...
That seems poorly worded, as I’d guess it means “you can pay for more than a day ticket [e.g. one child single and two adult day tickets]” all on one card.Today was sat at a bus stop and I noticed that the fact you could buy any ticket with contactless finally appeared on the display, it also mentioned Tap Tap Cap, but it said "Pay more than a Dayticket with Tap Tap Cap!"
Does anyone know if the Airlink 100 is running?
I have to connect from Waverley station to the airport tomorrow morning.
Thanks in advance..
It is running, however you will need to walk over to St. Davids Street (where Tk Maxx is) to get on a bus.Does anyone know if the Airlink 100 is running?

Is this thread strictly Lothian City buses and East coast buses or can Lothian Country be talked about?

No, let's keep the West Lothian thread for discussion of Lothian Country or we'll end up talking about it in both places!there’s a separate thread for it but doesn’t mean that Lothian Country can’t be referenced or mentioned here at all, especially in comparison to its sister companies

There are a couple of peak-time X5’s that are operated by double deckers. Off-peak it’s all singles though. Can anyone tell me which of the following routes I can expect to be a double decker?
37, 43, 124, 140, X5, X28 (I know the 43 and X28 are strictly speaking off topic for this thread, but may as well ask while I'm asking about the others)
My apologies, it says never pay more than a day ticket however the word never is on the line above which is what got me confusedThat seems poorly worded, as I’d guess it means “you can pay for more than a day ticket [e.g. one child single and two adult day tickets]” all on one card.
It’s a simple thing, but they really should think these kind of things through before publishing it.
That’s poorI don't think you were wrong, I think they must have updated it now. Here is a photo of it yesterday: View attachment 82717
Oh right, that makes sense. Strange they did such a mistake but glad they have fixed itI don't think you were wrong, I think they must have updated it now. Here is a photo of it yesterday: View attachment 82717
So this means my son can now request a child ticket and pay for it with his contactless card? This would be ideal. Cheers. That seems poorly worded, as I’d guess it means “you can pay for more than a day ticket [e.g. one child single and two adult day tickets]” all on one card.

Brilliant. Thanks.Yes, you can buy any combination of tickets with contactless as well as using the same card for an individual 'tap tap, cap'.
