Ironically, I'd say ex-Reading S102 LBL is about the best.

I haven't got round to a recent assessment, but for February 2010 with a fleet of 58 vehicles (22 Solo, 2 Excel and 34 Dart) with the Solos covering 60% of our mileage, attended roadcalls relating to issues with Solos were 14% overall. That can't be bad!

never experienced an s-reg, won't be long knowing lillyhall! our fleet of them is growing, and yeah they are good vehicles, just lillyhall don't get the best pick of the bunch! although latest addition 47474 is doing well...so far :)

I suppose it all depends on mileage and servicing intervals too and their past lives. Our two 04-plates cover just over 450 miles a day each, so I wouldn't have though Workington to Seaton all day would be too taxing?

oh no, i would'nt think so at all  the only come-back i can say is that all 12 solos do get around West Cumbria as they aren't set to a particular service, except the 08's where there is always one operating service 1 in whitehaven because Bransty Road is particularly steep and 51's can't hack it and the 04's would struggle!

47023 on the 2015 Workington - Cockermouth X5.
47062 on Workington Evening Services, the LED's have kinda packed in again (rear and side ones changing, front stuck on "Moorclose Circular 50".
47616 sat on the annexe, it has gained Workington dayrider advert!
47059 on evening 30.
20761 and 20994 on evening 301's.
16734 been on 300.
16733, 20901, 20918, 35247 and 35248 on 30 and 31, so out of 11 MANs, only a max of 8 were out on their proper service!
34079 been around in Workington, side display not in use still, but it does work!
on the flip dot displays that have been updated, the "Sorry," on "Sorry, Not In Service" is smaller than on the ones that havn't been updated (i.e. the ones that show destination on the side and not just the route number).

Sorry I'm a little lost lol. So Fleetwood are getting something from another depot?

Also welcome Lui9795 :)

No, AFAIK they will be brand new. There is thought that Frenchwood may also get some too but im doubting it.
Will be interesting to see is 52629's future if the rumours which are circulating come off, won't mention more till all is confirmed. However, 16328 is now in service at Frenchwood, with Stagecoach in Cumbria fleetnames but Ribble Motor Services legals. Unfortunatly it didn't last long in service, breaking down and returning very quickly to the bus station after going out on a 68.

They must be for delivery soon as the contract begins on Sunday!!!

PX10 ETR sitting at ADL Falkirk today

Is that an E200 or a Scania Gez lol?

Also forgot to mention that 14199 was on the D1 on Monday morning. Is there a reason this one is still around?

probably because Stagecoach are useless at withdrawing buses! if they don't withdraw a bus when its replacement comes in, they're putting buses on disposals lists and not actually withdrawing them in reality! (as seen with Lillyhall, operating 20130 from reserve, and 20777 from disposals. recently had 42565 "operating from disposals", but that has now gone!).

20763 withdrawn, replaced by 20913. 20759 also appears to have been withdrawn.

so thats 2 buses that have been replaced twice! well done Stagecoach!
(20435 and 20436 came to replace 20763 and 20764. 20764 was re-replaced by 16647, and now 20763 been re-replaced!)

20918 on short 300.
22596 was pulled off 30 and 31 due to overheating. 20905 went on instead.
47005, 47007, 47023, 47024, 47059 and 47474 on Workington Town Services (can't remember which were on which now. 47474 was Harrington).
20923 on 48 this afternoon.
a few other B10M's and 14234 on 30 and 31.
20134, 20195 and 20790 on Workington Schools.
14257 and 35246 on Staff Shuttles. 14257 then went to Whitehaven for schools.

Workington... Yay.
West Cumbria's Scania's are apparently PX60 plated, so likely not going into service 'til September.

Sooner rather than later would be nice. Seen as though there are six tacho'd Olys for the 300 and they can't even manage to have four of them out in service on the same day! 20761 on 300 today <( grrrrrr!

In other news, I'm off down to Preston tomorrow! Muahaha, watch out!

20945 went out on the 2:15 48/Northside with a 'Sorry Not in Service' display and no boards - even though 20473, 20777 on annex with '48 Northside' on both!
others on annex - 20994 and 20905
47061 on 51 (rear display broke)
47059 on 50
usual E300's and darts around and seen 20962 on 30/31 - 22596 had another overheating moment today
glad to see no more small darts in service at lillyhall!

Should have said hello would never have noticed.
Anyway basically ADL go on annual summer shutdown for three weeks next week.
The is some argument over who is right about the numbers so we will have to wait and anyway head over to gez.fotopic and look under 10 plates

Great pics there Gez so that's one of ours? Take it the other 3 will be with use soon before the three week shutdown? Will they go into service together or will the first 4 go out when they are ready?

I would imagine they will go into service as soon as drivers have been trained, may take a while, there are one or two things for them to mess up with.
Drives very nice though, as Scanias do and they have 5 speed ZF boxes.

Fantastic :) Wouldn't it make more sense to send these 4 to Cumbria and then we get our 8 in September?
