Well.....I was wondering if it is possible for introducing Class 230 on Nuneaton-Coventry-Leamington Spa Line, I know Vivarail had arranged a trial 4 years ago but the unit ended up with fire in Kenilworth so it was shelved.
So was wondering if it's possible to resume the trial so as to free up Class 172s for extra capacity in Snow Hill Line.

Are the 230's based at Bletchley? If so as the 172's are based at Tyseley it makes more sense to have 172's on the Leamington to Nuneaton services as it will mean less stock movements would need to take place. The Snow Hill routes will e getting additional trains when the 196's arrive although I am not sure if this will be more carriages or just more space on-board.

Yes but WMT can consider ordering additional 230s for NUCKLE

If they did that would it not make sense to have them all based in the same location and if so I don't know if there would be the space at Tyseley.
Another thing to consider is that the 172/0 are quite good and some users of the line may see second hand Underground trains as a downgrade as on the Bedford to Bletchley route they replaced older 153/150 units but the 172/0 are fairly new.

172/0s are nicer and make more sense. Leamington already has some 172s stabled there and WMR already have a large fleet of 172s. Although they have 230s they are far away (why they are lnwr)
