Which rail service do you use the most?

Virtually always on FGW services these days, journies beginning/ending in Trowbridge. Most regularly used services would be Paddington to Bristol and vice versa on HSTs. To get to them I usually end up on a 150/158, depending on whether I'm out for The Trans Wilts Express or a stopper. On other occasions, it's 159s on SWT Bristol to Waterloo services. Oh, and of course, occasionally I use the loco-hauled jobs to scoop a winner loco if one produces, commonly between Bristol and Filton.

For everyone besides Techniquest and myself, that is a (usually) double-decker (although annoyingly not when I used it! :-x) -operated route between Trowbridge and Swindon, via Devizes.
I'm going to assume that you mean the former Alphaline route between Cardiff and Portsmouth?

Do you prefer to travel to London by changing at Bath, than Westbury or direct into Waterloo?

Changing at Bath is my preferred option, so I can arrive into London in style on a HST, although if needs be I'll use the SWT services to Waterloo.

Correct on all counts there. Swindon to Trowbridge via Avebury and Devizes is the 49 and commonly referred to as the Trans Wiltshire Express. Correct also it's normally E400 double-deckers, although those single decker Enviro things do a number of services on it too, as do Tridents now and again.

I do indeed mean the Cardiff to Portsmouth services when I say the Trans Wilts Express It got that nickname from me ages ago, since a large chunk of the route is in Wiltshire.

Harrow to Rickmansworth on the German trains for work three or four days a week.

And far too much exposure to Dicky Branson's rubbish trains at weekends during the football season.

My regular commute is between Bache & Bootle New Strand on weekdays. Much as I would love to see some semi-fast trains on the run from Chester to Liverpool, I fear it's forever an all shacks service!

My normal route is Crouch Hill to Gospel Oak on a LOROL 150, then Gospel Oak to Willesden Junction on a 313/378.

However that now only operates on a weekday as LOROL tend to have next to nothing on the weekends, then i have to use other options using a Metroline route 91 bus to Euston then LOROL Euston to Willesden Junction.
When LOROL dont run any service to Willesden i have the following options metroline bus route 91 to Euston then First London bus route 18 from Euston to Harrow Road. Or Metroline bus route 210 to Brent Cross Shopping Centre then bus route 266 Brent Cross to Willesden Junction.

North Clyde Line every day at the moment (although I do drive in some situations). Normally, I'm on the 0804 BAI-PTK three out of five mornings (sometimes more), but at the moment my normal train is the 1119 nearly every day.

Hadfield to Piccadilly mostly but due to shift times I have to use the car for work.

I make a few tips to London every year using a wide varierty of routes and make good use of my travelcard whilst there.

Favourite route in London is via the Chilton line.
