Not sure, all 3 LX60s and another LX11 were unbranded there aswell, would have thiugh they were branded up at thorntons

That makes sense. I assumed 1117 would be held for the B8L batch that is due soon, over the dual door ex londoners but then again, fleet numbers don't seem to matter as much to them lol.

Are you sure? Trackers do weird things though. For example bus 5005 is apparently at Seafield.

it is, 1117 was the next bus on the tracker i was waiting for and 737 apppeared

Looks like B9s now carrying full rear end commercial ads instead of B7s. 783s removed 382 carrying one aswell as 20939 and another east coast double carrying one

....talking of 783, I've been on it twice this week and noticed that it has had both the used ticket bin and "Metro" holder removed, the brackets/mountings for both are still there however.... just wondered if 783 was on its way to being removed from service?

all the b7s are being withdrawn slowly but not sure why bins are being removed?
You act like it's some big event and have to report it here every time it happens. We don't need daily updates on the 913 and wether it's broken down or not...

Then you have failed the main problem.
What problem would that be? Yes, I think it's a bit ridiculous that a bus keeps braking down all the time on the same route. But I don't and wouldn't feel the need to announce it on a forum every time it happens, it's pointless.

It's a B9R/Levante, that's the issue! I seem to recall saying on here prior to them acquiring it that they'll probably see nothing but issues with it. I was right!

If the B9R/Levante is being as unreliable as it appears to be, then why don't they (LMC) allocate a different coach to the route? Or is it a Citylink requirement to use a particular spec'ed vehicle for the route?

Afaik Citylink don't require any particular spec (so long as it complies to PSVAR). Really any modern 12M coach that's PSVAR compliant could do the service.
Just for my own personal satisfaction here are my comments from almost 2 months ago regarding LMC acquiring Levante's.
To which Omnicity99 replied stating they were B9R's, so i replied with....The Vanhools will be good, can't really go wrong with them.
Second hand Levantes on the other hand

Road closed at waverley steps (someone hut by coach) and the drivers seem to be going about aimlessly, some via the mound some via waverly bridge some via waverley steps

What's causing the levantes to be so unreliable? I think they were ex National Express?

They're Volvo B9R's, the D9B engine is nothing but problematic on coaches, especially on both the warmer and colder days. Mated to the Levante body it's a recipe for disaster!
Fuel injector blow outs is a very common occurrence.

What bright spart at LMC said that they would be a good buy? I wonder what sort of agreement or contract CityLink have with LMC for this service as unreliablity is not a good thing. Penaltys?
