Lancaster routes back to normal after 1300
47249 back on the road, worked the 0938 7 Vale and the 08 and 38 rest of the day.
Look out for some more new buses in the north of area by Easter, not saying what that will be a suprise but they are a bit special

You've got everyone thinking about all sorts of things there, Gez [and yes, they will be quite suprised when they, hopefully, arrive before Easter]

Saw 18363 heading dead through Greaves, then turn around at the pointer roundabout and head back through Greaves then turning off at Booths into Hala. Not sure what he was doing but it was on the 2a later on.

I noticed this myself!, i followed it from Moorside to Hala, then when i was turning into the pointer aroundabout from Ashton Road, it was turning out of Greaves Road shown "Sorry Not in Service".

I can't see Carlisle getting new stuff for citi network, plus they've just had all them E300's for 79/179 and 104's, also I can't imagine lakes services getting brand new stuff either. So who knows...

capacity on some of the Citi services can be a problem though. often see standee's on 61, 61A, 62 and 62A. it can be varied though. sometimes its full with quite a few standee's, sometimes theres quite a few seats spare!

i'd guess the R-NBV's would go somewhere else for further service, such as Barrow (to join 16655) or Carlisle (for 554).

Sure will,
Stephie has once again put in for new vehicles for the 40/41s and will no doubt be knocked back again

after Manchester being mentioned, it reminded me of a rumour from Stagecoach Manchester of 08 reg E400's leaving. if that rumour is true, could it be to do with that? maybe brought in to the Carlisle Citi Network...

He sure was I'm busy slaving over the laptop getting next months Trident sorted. The solo works the relief to the 8 o clock 40 as far as Garstang, and then relief to the 0755 ex Preston as far as Lancaster

What do you mean when you say you were working on the Trident?

Looks like one of the Volys expired then, cos I passed 20134 on the 300 when I was on the way home!

just been thinking about this "something special", and...

Barrow possibly? X35?
seeing as Stagecoach complained to Cumbria County Council about only being provided with 3 Trident's for the service when the route requires 4 buses!
