How about 150284? Is that out and about today?
Is it me or is it unbranded?
People like us know it’s TfW, but I’m wondering if they’re deliberately not putting TfW on the side just yet. Ditto the 150s that have been repainted into ATW colours.
The stickers just might not have been put on yet. Here's hoping! They put them on the 175s and they're actually leaving sooner.Unbranded, as per zoro's post above yours.
Nice, a fourth photo! And coupled to an ATW liveried 158 as well. 1530 from Aberystwyth ey...? I could have actually walked to the train station over the road from me and seen it, if I wasn't such a lazy sh*t. Oh well, hopefully soon!https://www.flickr.com/photos/40011/46444786344/in/dateposted/
158826 in Transport for Wales livery, as yet unbranded, on the Cambrian line near Welshpool.
They were doing work to the ticket office area when I was last there’s few weeks ago and I noticed they have installed a load of new speakers all over the station too, so they definitely have been doing some work there.Whoops, I got that all completely wrong didn't I! Thanks for letting me know.
New speakers ey...? Were the old ones really bad or something...?They were doing work to the ticket office area when I was last there’s few weeks ago and I noticed they have installed a load of new speakers all over the station too, so they definitely have been doing some work there.
The old ones were installed not that long ago, but I don’t think they’d ever worked.New speakers ey...? Were the old ones really bad or something...?
Only 1 Voyager has the new livery ATM.I think it's great how now the two operators between Holyhead and Chester have the exact same livery.
Good thing there aren't any operator restricted tickets along that route or anything.
Wait, hold on!
Exactly!Only 1 Voyager has the new livery ATM.

Oh yeah, always helps if they work! An amplifier helps as well, along with the ATOS unitThe old ones were installed not that long ago, but I don’t think they’d ever worked.
I'm autistic and wouldn't have done that. Are some people just really stupid...?I took someone to flint last week who wanted London. That’s someone getting on a green train instead of a red and white one...... on a completely separate platform........ 15 minutes earlier than the train they wanted! This isn’t uncommon.
Some people, when met with an unfamiliar situation, and with an urgent deadline (mustn't miss the train!), can disregard relevant information that's right in front of them, and go to pieces.I'm autistic and wouldn't have done that. Are some people just really stupid...?

Fair point!Autistic people generally (a) are obsessive about doing things correctly, and (b) tend to pay a lot of attention to relatively small things like the colour of a train and why it's that colour, and the pattern of platform allocations. So I'd say an autistic person is much less likely to board an incorrect train.
Seconded. It seems stupid for anamyd because people with autism tend to pay attention to the real world more.Autistic people generally (a) are obsessive about doing things correctly, and (b) tend to pay a lot of attention to relatively small things like the colour of a train and why it's that colour, and the pattern of platform allocations. It's always good to know and much appreciated to know how neurotypicals perceive things, so thanks for that. I wouldn't go up to someone and call them stupid, just to be clear! Bletchleyite I appreciate your post as well.Seconded. It seems stupid for anamyd because people with autism tend to pay attention to the real world more.
All I can offer is that the railway works in mysterious ways...It's always good to know and much appreciated to know how neurotypicals perceive things, so thanks for that. I wouldn't go up to someone and call them stupid, just to be clear! Bletchleyite I appreciate your post as well.
Anyway, does anyone know what the deal is with 826 not having Transport for Wales logos or text...? I'm guessing they just haven't been applied yet, because the 175s that are in the new livery have them and they'll actually be leaving the fleet slightly sooner than the 158s from what I understand.
Final branding will now have Wales and Borders in the title (On the orders of DfT). It will probably be applied to 826 at Canton or Mach.
it sure does! All I can offer is that the railway works in mysterious ways...
Ah yes, thanks for that! With or without Cymru a'r Gororau though...?Final branding will now have Wales and Borders in the title (On the orders of DfT). It will probably be applied to 826 at Canton or Mach.
The initial imagery of units in the immediate hours after the franchise award showed both Wales and Borders, and Cymru a'r Gororau.Ah yes, thanks for that! With or without Cymru a'r Gororau though...?
That's what I recall, yes. Thanks - I think I meant to say a not a'r; I dropped out of dosbarth Cymraeg...The initial imagery of units in the immediate hours after the franchise award showed both Wales and Borders, and Cymru a'r Gororau.
But not 'Transport for.....' before 'Wales & Borders'.The initial imagery of units in the immediate hours after the franchise award showed both Wales and Borders, and Cymru a'r Gororau.
