Dont know how true this is but i'm led to believe that ADL are working on an Enviro 300 body for the Volvo B8RLE with the angular front end rather than the "city" front end. Similar length to the East Coast examples but with a higher seating capacity owing to them having an "express" seating layout compared to the East Coast examples that have more of a coach/long distance layout. Dual axle, not tri axle.

I doubt they'll market it as the Enviro300 (or E300MMC), however sounds interesting!

On match days the X12 operates from Ingliston P+R to Murrayfield before the match, then from Murrayfield back to the P+R afterwards (usually every 15 mins)

I think there is usually extra Trams running and depending on demand, untimetabled extras on the 26/31 between city centre and Murrayfield

In previous years, there has been extra 22's after the match from Stevenson Road back into city centre

Visual Edinburgh is showing 3101 and 3102.
Not sure what they are but one was showing on 139 or 140 the other day. Could they be the demonstrators ?

I agree, besides the N113 and extension to Granton the 113 has had very little change in the past year and a half, it would be good if the N113 ran fully to Pencaitland though I’m unsure if the demand is there, an X13 as I mentioned would be a good idea and could potentially be a replacement to the eastbound X44. Can only hope Sunday buses get the Granton extension on the next network change!

I feel I may have been the one that led with this theory, I'm unsure myself now as the 400XLB's proved me wrong, however eventually there 04 plate B7RLE's will be getting replaced, Lothians record says its going to be 11.8m B8RLE's certainly for the 2, unsure of what Edinburghs LEZ will look like though which of course grassmarket which the 2 travels through will likely be effected.

However...with the chat recently seen, if Lothian are trialling various lightweight buses for fuel economy and that perhaps lothian will take a small dip away from Volvo.

If such an ADL body is going to be fitted to a B8RLE it'll may be called an ADL e200s, ADL uses the e400s naming for the Scania N250UD decker option.

I’d further that and say it is the only change it has seen since the creation of the route 6 and a half years ago. (barring it going via Wallyford P&R and the Saturday daytime frequency going up to very 30 minutes)

EDIT - I think they should also trial a daytime X13, but still keep the 113 (similar to the X5 and 124)

Pretty sure King's only do paint. The livery will be changing slightly soon so maybe getting touched up for that.

i know the ex London B9's have been getting remapped but i cant imagine they've been going there for that, that can be done in house.

As far as I know ZF are the one's altering the gearboxes topodyn software.

Apparently a Lothian motercoach bus will be used to operate a Shuttle service between Wallyford Station and Musselburgh racecourse, will it be staying in the Musselburgh depot?

63 has been every 40 Monday to Friday for almost 4 years now. And I'm sure the 113 may have been every 40 on some days near the beginning anyway. Again perhaps the 20 was at somepoint every 40 as well. The latter I'm really not sure on though

The Sunday service on the 113 at every hour certainly compared to the other ECB routes like the 104 and 124 (I know X7 is still hourly on a Sunday too) does come across as poor. Look at the 124 on a Sunday, in two years it's gone from every hour with Singles to half hourly with doubles. Now I really doubt that every 30 would be viable especially down in Pencaitland, Hence why the every 40 mins service is something that may happen. Again I've said that it should only be every 40 if it has the doubles and goes beyond the Western

The Airlink at every 9 mins is far less user friendly than a 40 min service

I'm not too sure but didn't they trial the 107 or 106 as half hourly on Sundays at one point? I'm sure it was over the summer?

I thought that was what they did on the 124 and then they made it permanent. I don't recall it being on the 106/X7 at any point, could be wrong though
