After some tea and cake, we board the 17:04 Border Buses route 91 bus service to Peebles (Bank of Scotland), arriving there at 17:42 on Wednesday evening.

So it seems Biggar is served by two 91 buses...logical

From Peebles (great name!), we board the 17:50 Borders Buses service 93 to Romanno Bridge, at Bus Shelter, arriving at 18:15 Wednesday evening.

We don't have much of an option other than to board the 18:39 Borders Buses route 93 back to Broughton, Primary School, arriving there at 18:55 on a Wednesday.

Spending the night here, we then board the 06:25 Borders Buses service 93 to West Linton, opp Gordon Arms Hotel, arriving at 06:50 Friday morning.

After some breakfast, we board the 07:36 Stagecoach West Scotland route 101A bus service to Morningside Station, arriving there at 08:06 on Friday morning.

We then board the 08:23 Lothian Buses service X15 to Edinburgh Princes Street (Waverley Steps), arriving at 08:46 Friday morning.

Next, we look around the city before returning to the Waverley Steps and entering Edinburgh Waverley station, where we board the 10:37 ScotRail train service to Inverness, arriving there at 14:16 on Friday afternoon.

At this time of day, the only game in town is the 22:18 Stagecoach Perth service on route 15 - which we board at Glenlee in Dalginross, disembarking at Methven (Methven Arms), arriving there at 22:55 on Friday evening.

We stop off overnight and take the eight minute walk to the railway station, where we board the 0518 Abellio ScotRail service 1T02 to Bishopbriggs, arriving there at 0626 on Saturday morning.

From Stance 1, we board the 09:42 Stagecoach Fife express city connect route X24 bus service to St Andrews (Bus Station), arriving there at 11:56 on Saturday morning.

Not entirely sure as to why services only go as far as Montrose!

From the nearby station, we board the 23:11 ScotRail service 1A97 to Aberdeen, arriving at 00:07 early Sunday morning.

We then walk to the bus station and get the 06:30 Scottish Citylink service M9 to Glasgow (Buchanon Street Bus Station (Stance 52), arriving at 09:40 Sunday morning.

We get on the second train of the morning (after the 09:30 to Glasgow Queen Street), the 09:47 London North Eastern Railway service 1E15 to London Kings Cross, arriving at 16:48 Sunday afternoon.

Is there a reason why we have to wait till 9:47 when there are much earlier bus services?
