Rebranded East Coast 43206 & 43277 are the official departure train from Edinburgh for the "opening" of East Coast.

Second train from Edinburgh had 43309 & 43314 in East Coast branding.

NXEA 317 729 (the only train to carry the 'one' version of Stansted Express livery, the orange train) is at Ilford for relivery.

That's great news the livery was dreadful as it was but then NX added the white stripe...

anyway so it's going going gone. Interesting NX are concentrating on trains that will be replaced soon. Are they still branding them Stanstead Express instead of National Express but in the same livery?

The front page is really useful because thejunction.org is no longer updated on a regular basis! I am amazed how many class 321s have already been reliveried by NX obviously the pace has quickened up somewhat from its beginnings! I understand little is being done to passenger saloons however

A big fleet NX have to tackle though. I record 321326 as being in NX livery presume this to be inaccurate

317 729 was some peoples (certainly mine!) favourite Stansted Express unit, purely because of the livery. Yes they are being re branded at Stansted Express, see the links below:

That was one of the worst things NX ever did, having the same liveries for Stansted & National Express.

Doncaster are relivering the 321's which is why they're being done so quickly. There's usually 2 units up there at one time, and when one is brought back to Ilford another goes to Doncaster. 321 326 is still in First Great Eastern Livery. 321 426 has been reliveried into National Express. The 321's appear to be being done in numerical order.

For those of you that remember the 317's before they were 'played around with', 729 was previously numbered 317 329.

Its me being pedantic really, but being pedantic had this unit returned to Ilford and had its white stripe replaced for a "Stansted Express" one.

After a delay, NXEA 321315 is to go to Doncaster.

Its all a bit go go go

Future NXEA 321429 (and Future FFC 321410) will be both going to Doncaster tomorrow, they are both currently at Willesden after coming out of store today from Eastleigh.

All bar the 7 agreed 321 units (321411-417) are now away from LM after they have got there 350/1 back from Southern. The last 4 went to temporary store at Eastleigh over the past two days, where they will await there turn to visit Wabtec.

I'm the last person to question people, but are you sure 321 425 isn't liveried? I'm sure it is. Wasn't that one of the ones that went from LM straight to Doncaster and then into store at Orient Way?

Nope, I'm quite sure 425 is still in Silverlink colours, Mark Chaplin from one of the gen sites has been keeping quite a meticulous eye on the units over the last few months and he published his own copy of the list this afternoon and it syncs up.

Looking back at dates 425 arrived at Ilford with bed fellows 424 & 437 direct from Bletchley on July 17.

425 was the unit that sat around at Orient Way for a while with a "do not use - unless emergency" sign, sods law of they had to use it and it got round to Stratford and failed! However I do believe it has been used quite a bit recently without issue.

Andrew Chambers has a photo of NXEA 156416 going to Wolverton works on 8th January [156412 continued to Tysley for an exam]. Does this suggest a refurb and relivery to soon occur?

Unfortunately very doubtful. 156416 has gone to Wolverton for crash repairs. It had an argument with a car whilst working a North Walsham to Norwich before Christmas.

It would be nice for 156412 have a refirb as that unit, along with 156418 are both still in Central Trains livery, but it's very doubtful. NX appear to be concentrating in the 317's and 321's.

There is a 317 shown as at Chart Leacon for a C6, I did mean to make a note of which one it is but I've failed too...

Has it been mentioned in here that 321424 (NX) has been in service since the New Year? 323 (I think) was allocated to come back from Doncaster today.
